As for Max McGee's question: Me and my friend have been working with RPG maker 2003 for years. So, we tried to make this game (our first serious project) with it.
And thanks TMAC for playing it! I really appreciate your comments.
Yes the story doesn't make sense yet, because were still working on it.
The demo has very little of it. The thing with Tomek got explained though...
As about the battle system....did you try out skills? It makes the battles much more fun (Well IMO anyway)
And the Day/Night system...right now the only functions it has:
-Makes different enemies appear at the Nirmand road and Bighorn Mountains.
-Makes different NPC's appear in towns.

And here's my game synopsis (Same as in game profile):
*SYNOPSIS*
Hyamlan's Secrets is an action RPG, with gameplay similair to games like Secret of Mana and Legend of Zelda.
It takes place in Hyamlan, a typical fantasy world where humans live together with elfs, dark elfs, dwarfs, and other strange creatures.
You take on the role of Alex, an elf.
One day, he fell out of the sky, right into the ocean. Two sailors fished him out of the water, and Alex agreed to travel with them. Alex couldn't remember a thing of what happened to him.
However, along the way they get attacked and captured by pirates...
Alex meets Tomek, and arrogant dark elf with a mysterious past on the pirate boat...
Together, they go on a great journey...
Some game features:
*Real time battle system
*Custom skill system
*Multiple playable characters
*Many equipment to choose from
*Day/Night system

You can upload the demo here, you know. You just need to submit three screenshots and a decent synopsis. RMN's download is much better than Megaupload's.

It plays a bit like Zelda, but with RPG elements. It's a bit difficult, so I
recommend you to have many healing items and the best equipment you
can get at all times.
The demo is more of an introduction: There's very little story in it, there's more lore than anything else.
Though gameplay wise the demo is pretty long.
I've added instructions in the .rar, be sure to read them.
