Americanization

Hmm, Crimson. Whenever I remake something, I tend to make it resemble the original work somewhat, am I right~? If there were ethnic characters in it, that's totally fine because that's how they were designed! But the point is they added them even though the original cover (even the game!) didn't contain them at all. Now that's political correctness. (╥﹏╥)

Seriously, it isn't about race, it's about the GAME. And like Verse said, they added them to be icons more than anything, which is wrong. ^^

Americanization

Guess it really depends. I totally understand some things must be changed. Like, for example, Reimu.

Good luck with localizing that. She might as well have the rising sun on her forehead.
But I see absolutely no reason why they changed that wonderful artwork to some slutty politically correct artwork. It's not like they had any Japanese culture in their designs (besides the art style) that any American kid wouldn't understand.

The Screenshot Topic Returns

Maybe you could clear that first HUD a little more, make the cut-outs of the colored circles correspond with the center one (unless there's some blatant reason for this that I'm missing)

Ooh, boot camp~ Sounds like fun. >_>;;

Oniromancie? Well, I should've known you'd have been there before, Creation.
I've known that site for years now, they have some pretty good resources.
That weird naked nymph faerie thing always sort of creeped me out, though.

Vers, Oniromancie is some French RM Community. They've been around for some time, but that pesky language barrier kept it from becoming well-known to the English speaking community.
The makers there seem to be very talented, I remember one game was pretty okay, I think it was called "Children of Light"...?

Link is right 'ere : http://www.rpg-maker.fr/

Well, first I made the map. Then I took a screenshot of it. After that, I took 19 different frames of animations to make the wavy effect. I imported the 19 different frames as Panoramas, and I just made an event that changed the panoramas at 0.1 seconds to animate it. I used transparent events for tile passabilities. It was a lotta work, but worth it in my opinion. ^^

RPG 20XX Engine

I second TARDIS' suggestion. I've always wanted pixel-wise movement like in Golden Sun D:

Hi there!

Don't worry, your entrance is all totally fine :D
Welcome to RMN ^^

I... don't even know where to begin.

*eyebrows singe off at the sight of BatmanXRobin*

Greetings..!

Oh, yeah! I saw that custom front-view battle system on your channel a little while ago. I tried to mimic it, but failed miserably. ._. Too bad, I really wanted it, too.

And your English is fine, it isn't difficult to understand ^^

Welcome to RMN~

Oh. You're right, Link. I'm pretty self-conscious about my spriting, so when Benos posted that her sprite's proportion was the first thing I assumed ^^

It would be nice to have a slower waver effect. But he/she/it is probably so busy bug testing right now I won't bother 'im/'er/it.
