This game is focused more on the NES/GBC styles and not SNES/DS.
A HP/MP Party bar on top wouldn't hurt it though.

But then they wouldn't fit the black and white classic DQ menu theme. Plus either Orias made icons fitting the item's specific color (fire staff with a blue tip?) or face continuous complaints regarding said matter.

Same "forests are too dark" complaint here. Also the desert/sand looks too bright, unless I'm supposed to assume to moon is full (at nighttime).

-Just finished the Bariden region.
-Suddenly, I want to know which monsters are in-game.

Welp, seems I'm starting over.
At least I glimpsed one of my favorites bros from DWM2, too bad I'll have to wait a looooooooong time to get him.
