I want to make a game with no combat.
Is this blasphemous?
Basically I want to attempt a game with multiple factions
And trying to sort of build an army unite a land blah blah ect.
And maybe a small amount of combat.
But not much.
I want it to be open but not too open
Just story exploration choices and decisions that play out in how the game turns out.
Is it ridiculous to even start on a project like that?
Long time rm fan. Never involved myself with the community.
I don't think I typed the topic in all caps but looks that way on my phone so, sorry..
think I started on rm 95 at least briefly, it was more 2000
But anyway. I kinda loved it and it alway had a place in my heart. Or at least my pc. Last few years I haven't done any rpg making and I feel as if the younger me was less of an idiot.
Im confused as to even make an avatar on the forum let alone scripting.
So my name is Chris, I feel like its time I join the community seeing as its something I love.
Maybe there's some newbie threads I could poke around.
My games aren't fancy and as the sprites started looking better the less I customized them. (I probably don't even remember how I know there was a specific program I used lol)
