Is there some kind of like program where it'll take your resources and edit them so that there perfect for RM2K(3)? Cause this method is really tedious.
For awhile now, I have been using Paint.net Download Here and opening MS Paint pictures and saving them in Paint.net as a Bit Depth of 8 which keeps the colours from you MS Paint file and allows you to upload to RM2K(3)

This is a great article Darken and I agree with pretty much everything you mentioned but what I find when playing games that bugs me is repetition? You could constantly click on a NPC and he says the same thing over and over or even explore the world and come back and yet he still says the same thing?
Maybe it is worth noting to have several pages of dialogue for an npc and switches so the banter is not always the same? just a thought.

All my artwork is done in MS Paint and I've had the same problem before downgrading it to 256 colours, is it possible to draw on paint then export to photoshop the edit it then?

It's so great to hear people speak so passionatly about their crafts and desires. I agree with harmonic in the way that we should try to take time to appreciate the art rather than glancing at it and just briefly judging it. Although I think this is down to lazyness. I magority of mediums just dont seem to try anymore.
Its not as if all bases have been touched on so why bother? There are some really talented designers out there still trying to make a difference and I say goodluck and godspeed!
