do something else you enjoy as you evaluate the (time+effort):reward ratio. sometimes a project just isn't worth finishing, and that's okay -- sometimes you need a break, and that's okay.

It depends on how you lost it. In the case of burnout via overwork, just take a break for a day or so, then return to the project. In the case of long-term neglect, you just have to force yourself into a habit. Set aside some time each day to work on the project, then do that for however long it takes to finish. Doesn't have to be a lot of time, so long as it's regular.
Replaying your game might spark the motivation again. It may make you remember why you were so passionate about it in the first place. :D
Eliminate distraction. That'll force you to do the things that matter. The only time I ever get things done is when I either purposely eliminate distraction or distraction is eliminated for me. Sometimes stressful things like deadlines force me to eliminate distraction, and sometimes even deadlines can't do that. But either way, the only time I ever get anything done is when I stop doing the things that are other than what I want/need to get done.
Motivation is a metaphor for the universe, eventually falling into an inevitable and neverending heat-death. Enjoy the ride as you descend into the inky blackness.
