You are welcome! I really did enjoy the story.
I totally understand the dilemma about not wanting to 'break' the gameplay system that you were so carefully trying to construct (in 10 days!) - balance is so hard to achieve and you can never please everybody.

Not sure if you are still checking comments for this much, but...
Liking this game very much so far. Not quite done the main storyline yet, but quite far in, and having fun doing all the side quests and playing Pokemon with the characters (gotta catch em all!)

Where exactly can you get steel? Doesn't seem like you can buy it from anywhere or at least I can't find such a place..
You can make it at Tarito city once you have beaten Quros - there is a building at the bottom with a smith-guy who will make steel if you give him 2 bronze and 1 iron.

Ahh yes. I did get that screen with the password. Have to say I did not think of editing an instance myself and adding it. I think I'll pass.
But if you want to release a patch that adds the chest, I will be happy to test (especially if it works with my existing save files) :)

I think I found the 41st medal in the Catacombs in the present cause I went back and cross checked the guide to make sure I had all 40, and that was the only medal that you did not mention in the guide. I figured you left it in as an extra in case the player missed one of the missable ones.
I was using a Dragovian shield, until like Varn, I got the Loto's shield as a relic quest, then I stopped thinking about it.
After I was done the bonus content (searched very carefully) I still had not found the Hero's Shield - and unless I am off on this, there is no way to create a hero's item, they have to be found, and then they can be used to make Legacy items. Did I miss something?

I guess the only way to get the shield will be for those who clear the bonus scenario content. I hate that!

Well, made my very own Ghostbane about a week ago and then proceeded to finish the regular game, and the post-game content as well.
I do agree with a post from Varn on the previous page - once I built him everything was almost too easy - until I got to the post-game. Then he became almost a necessity. (My bonus monster helped a lot too.)
My advice is even though you can build Ghostbane a fair bit before the end of the game, I would wait until you get to the Persiva region before using him much.
Orias: any chance of you finishing the official walkthrough up to the end of the regular game any time soon ? I would love to see what I missed (I never managed to find the Hero's Shield, for one, so I am sure I missed other things too). And thanks again for a great game!
