Everything is on hold while I play Dark Souls 3. I went in with high expectations, and so far, Nothing has lowered said expectations.

I actually haven't finished Dark Souls on my pc.
There are two reasons for this - I don't have a controller yet and it's really awkward to play.

Wait, unless they fixed all the issues the PC port had? It's been years since I last looked into it.

Well, with DSFix most of the problems were sorted. And it runs fine on my PC. I only used DSfix for the 60fps.
There's a fan patch called DSFix that fixes a lot of the issues and they dropped Games for Windows Live so there's less overhead headache.
That said I also never finished DS1 and started DS3 yesterday. I lost my save in the GoWL swapover and I didn't feel like redoing the flyover territory again because holy shit did the devs drop the ball there. Sen's Fortress is my personal favorite of DS1 and most stuff after the Lordvessel are just awful. New Londo's the best by leaps and bounds over shitholes like the Archives and Lost Dragonbuttville.
For DS3, I'm still being bad on the walls as the easy class (Pyromancer) but I like a lot of small changes from DS1. I'm glad they went to a MP system from DeS too.
e: although ds3 seems to be having pc issues on my machine with weird lag spikes and the fps just tanks when I respawn for like 20s. I've turned down my graphics settings to reduce the lag spike frequency but it still happens because of ??? but I haven't looked into it at all yet. DS was never a pretty game so w/e.
