[RMMV] Having trouble with initial playtest

So I'm a new developer using RPG Maker MV. I finished my first room and wanted to play test it, but after pressing "New Game" at the title screen, an error occurs.

"Error
Failed to load: data/map001.json"

Anyone have an idea on what could be causing this? I've tried saving out and reloading the engine, making sure there is a walkable path on the map, and the only idea I got is probably the initial spawn point. I looked up solutions on Google but wasn't lucky in finding an answer. I'm going to keep digging through tutorials and hopefully I can find how to move the spawn point in the meanwhile.

Thanks for reading.

The Hobbit

I'm not the biggest fan of 3D films, but I'm excited to see this because A) I'm a die hard Tolkien fan, B) Peter Jackson goes all out on films, and C) I hear a lot through the grapevine that due to technology increasing, move quality will reach it's climax and will not get any better afterwards. They are using a whole new camera to film this, I guess. The Hobbit is supposed to be the first filmed with the new stuff.

Neoclassical Power Metal

I feel out of touch now! I only know Dark Moor. I enjoy the singer's "engrish".

Any libertarians here?

I'm a libertarian socialist. In short, I believe that all deserve equal financial rights and happiness comes with being content. I believe in voluntary association and an economic democracy. This will allow the individual to reach their full potential and not be dregs on society as a whole. Furthermore, I believe in a government that can only interfere with one's life only when absolutely necessary.

Mapping Woes (and Frustrations). Tips for a poor soul?

Don't try to overdo the towns, man. Trying to add a bunch of flair to them will indeed make them look choppy. I'm not an expert mapper, but I suggest this. Pick a town's center, like where an there is a market is for example, and build outward from there. If you want to make it seem logically life-like, a town will be built around or near something resourceful, or perhaps it caters to travelers. Take into consideration the terrain your placing it in as well. If you don't get help (because I don't mine did much), check around for a tutorial or something.

Look, he very obviously wants to enslave humanity.

You either did not even click on the link or you're being ironic

Sorry about that, man. I did not click the link, for I've been having trouble seeing these past few days. I didn't even notice it was blue. My thoughts on the original seem irrelevant now.

RPGMaker on PSP

I haven't tried any of the console RPGMakers, but I imagine your right, because though it looks good, I'm sure it has a serious lack of resources. I just kinda blurted this out there, but had no intention of trying it because it would only be directed towards people with modified PSPs with homebrew that allows PS1 games to be played and having RPGMaker. Very small crowd.

Oh hey. You know what game is hard?

Chrono Trigger Not Bubble Bobble.

I bet you will die like fifty times before you beat it! I know I did.

I never had too much trouble with Chrono Trigger. Lavos WAS crazy hard, but after Kefka in FF3, I sometimes feel that I could beat any rpg boss.
