author=Link_2112It's actually part of Pokemon Essential's default controls. I haven't touched that part. Thankfully, I added in a control configuration script so that you could set it to a different key if you wanted to.
F5? Could you make it a little more obscure please?
One stupid thing that I want to get around, though, is that the creator of this script removed joypad support for some reason. >_>
I introduced my friend to this project recently and he had a pretty neat idea.
Have a gym, where the guy at the front only looks like the gym leader. But when you speak to him, he's like "Huh? No, I'm not the gym leader." Because no one would see it coming and that could be the theme of the gym. Find the Pokemon trainer who's actually the gym leader!
He also wants to know, "Why's he called Cutsman? Why not just call him Cutman?"

I was planning on a quiz-themed gym of the sort, but that sounds interesting!
Generally, this is the type of puzzles I planned for each gym:
1st (Trio Badge Styled Gym. The leaders send out Pokemon who are of an opposing type to your starter)- Mostly a basic, short "maze" with trainers to battle. Nothing too complicated for the first gym in the game.
2nd (Dual-type Gym. All the Pokemon used by trainers have more than one elemental type)- The gym leader is a yoga instructor, so I kind of want it to be about "finding your inner center" somehow. I was thinking of like a time-based mini-game where the player would press a key at a certain spot, or something. Not quite sure on it yet.
3rd - (Double Battle Gym. Trainers send two Pokemon at once) The central puzzle would be where the player has to guide an npc, one that mirrors the player's movements, into a goal to proceed.
4th - (Sound Gym. Trainers utilize sound-based moves on their Pokemon) Being a sound-based gym, I thought the gym could have like a "Simon"-based puzzle where the player memorizes certain sounds and has to input them in the correct order to proceed to the leader.
5th - (Water Gym. Pokemon used here are all encountered by fishing/surfing) I was thinking of a maze similar to that of the Team Rocket hideout in R\B\Y, where you stand on certain panels that move you in a certain direction. Since this a Sea-based gym, those panels would be water jets or something.
6th - (Weather Gym. Trainers utilize weather to their advantage) The gym uses Pokemon that are affected by weather somehow, so I was thinking just a relatively linear gym where the player enters corridors that artificially change the weather of the room, which affects the battles the player faces.
7th - (Status Gym. Trainers here utilize status moves) A quiz gym similar to Cinnibar Island Gym, or what your friend mentioned.
8th - (Trainers use specifically electric, water, and fire type of Pokemon) The player would alter the terrain of the gym (by flooding, turning on/off gates, etc.) to proceed

It's a direct reference to Captain N's iteration of Cut Man from the megaman series of games. Google it, its appearance is appalling.
Professor Jay Bick? Is there a tree pun in there I'm not getting?
I was seriously hoping for Professor Spruce Lee...
Anyways, I haven't touched a Pokemon game since Gen 3, but I'll probably have to give this a spin when it comes out! Definitely going for Quirky, that outfit is just too great.

I personally really like the Quirky Male and Cool Female too, but due to the fact that I love Psychic types and am going to have like, probably a full team of 'em, I'll probably play as the Calm Male. Plus, he reminds me of Aang, so that's a plus. everyone else was talking about who they're playing as, I thought I'd jump in too
Also, the Cool Male's sprite looks a little... off. His body is very skinny and his head is way too big. But all the other players look awesome!

Really? It looks around the same size as the other sprites to me. He might be a touch too over-stylized compared to other characters, though.
