Christmas shopping starting to wind down, with only one gift left to buy. 800$ down the drain all in all. Fuck.

Wow, you really got an early start! I got my first gift a couple of weeks ago (I'm not 100% sure whether she got it for me but my sister was supposed to get me one for somebody) and will probably get the rest starting in a couple of weeks, unless I find something suitable for the people I have in mind before then.

Well, I fly back to work this Friday and I'll only get back in town on the 14th of December, which for me is way too late to buy gifts. I have a three week break then and my annual gift exchange with my buddies is only a few days after I get back. During the three week break I'm not driving anywhere besides parties and get-togethers unless I absolutely have to.

Anywho, we are almost done gift shopping this year (and have been for a while). Just have a few left to pickup.

Down the drain is probably overly harsh when used to describe my friends and family, yeah. As of today I'm completely finished.

Good to get it out of the way. I still have yet to do my Christmas shopping but I’ll get a head start on it sometime this weekend and try to get it finished a few weeks before Christmas. Besides, last year I waited pretty late to get it done and I just HATED standing in front of all those lineups and being around all those big pushy crowds.
