STATUS
I thought it would be better to ask this in a status instead of a blog. Should I make the extended version of Destiny Quest that will be on a different game page in RPG Maker 2003 instead? It's extremely hard to find matching battlers for the enemies.

Destiny Quest was your Golden Age of Gammak game, wasn't it? That means it was made in 2k (or TsuK). So, what I would do, is keep using that engine, retain the gamepage, and retain the download that was used for the contest. Any improvements, additions, or whatever it is that you are thinking of doing to the game after the event is over would be uploaded into a different download (and would probably be set as the "main" download).
But that's just me.
But that's just me.
I have to use another game page for the extended version because I didn't get to do everything I wanted to do with it because of the short deadline of that event, and I feel it'll be cheating if I use the same game page. That is why I am using a different game page. I am not editing the one I used for the contest.
I could do that, but then no one will bother to check the second download. They'll just download the default download. I know because I have two downloads for Eternal Destiny, and no one is checking to see if there is another download. I am going to use a different game page for that reason. Not trying to be mean, or anything.
I thought that when you upload a new version that you can have it become the default download on the front page if you want to - or can you? It’s been a while since I’ve had a game page or submitted a working download, so I forget from all that time back, but I’m pretty sure that you can, though.
I’m going to stick with Marrend on this one and also suggest to just use the game page that you already have right now and just update it accordingly when the time comes. But having another game page does have its advantages, though, as it will give you some more additional makerscore and highlight it a bit more on the front page when it’s out, so there’s that, I guess, but it’s completely up to you, though. Both ways are just fine.

I'd be echoing Addit, (who is echoing Marrend), stick with the one page, it's the same story, just extended so having two game pages by the same developer with the same name will just lead to confusion. Link the extended version to the main download button and make a note in the description that there are two downloads, the Golden Age competition entry and the extended version.
