Glad you're interested! Approximate date of 2nd chapter's release (+ minor fixes of 1st chapter) is December-January (will depend on work progress).
[RMMV] [RMVX ACE] Is there a good reason to jump from VX Ace to MV?

Creating my game on old Asus K50IN (with 2GB RAM) and having CPU issues (while testing) only when place too many events on one map or don't put decent amount of wait frames between few quick events (such as SE). So, it's a question of careful eventing, not of MV itself. What's also notable about it is that on more modern laptop I don't have lags at all.
- Games have higher system requirements than Ace games and tend to be sluggish on older machines.
P.S. and not many people nowadays use such toasters as Asus K50IN

author=Professor_QYeah, it's the most complicated part for me (English isn't my native language). I'll check the text of the 1st chapter again before releasing the 2nd. When I finish most of the chapters, I'll find an editor.
Grammatical and spelling errors, though none of them are major game-breakers.

Gratuitous use of profanity. Of course, we haven't yet seen enough character development for Samvi, so this may just be a facet of his personality.
author=Professor_QHehe, yeah, I know that red is "scary", but haven't come to a better idea of how to represent the mental state of Martha as a ghost. Maybe I'll revise this part of the scene before the next update.
The "die die die die I hate you" parchments in Martha's house came off as corny rather than scary. It wasn't particularly scary when Stephen King came up with "REDRUM REDRUM REDRUM", and it's even less scary 35-odd years later.
author=Professor_QThe Church is the name of religious organization, but not religion itself, and it's not the only one religious group in the history of this world, so soon players will figure out why I chose this name (by the way, on purpose). And I don't suggest drawing a parallel between our Church and their Church - they're different. So as ours witches and witchers and theirs.
Calling the main religious group "The Church" betrays a lack of originality. The real-life Church has not been burning witches for centuries now. Either call it the Church of X, or find a more interesting name for it.

Hey, guys!
I'm Russian story writer who can also do some mapping, eventing and photoshoping. In the future I would like to start producing my own graphic, but for now I'm experimenting with basic and DLC packs.
The rest is pretty standard: read books, watch movies and anime and play games. Fan of horror and Deep-sea Prisoner's games.
Currently working on Kaia dilogy - fantasy story with dark elements about a girl searching for her mother.
