Would you want to play a racing game made in rm2k3? This is pretty much all I have so far, a system where you can drive and go round the corners and stuff... but there's no lag. I think that will become an issue once I try to put in opponents with AI, obstacles, moving scenery and things like that.

Great list. I have no idea how tedious it must have been to make, or how you did it. I'm also honoured my game made it there =D
About votes... I think popular vote is good enough. There won't be a perfect system unless everyone was to try every game but that's ridiculous. The main problem is that if a good game has only been played by 100 people, probably only 10 of them or less will be voting in the Misaos.
Most of the categories have been created with a game in mind, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out.
