...It may be a good thing. Sometimes I get so obsessed with gamedev for weeks at a time that I tend to let other aspects of my life go down the drain.

Being between projects means I can get other stuff done that I've been putting off for months.

Ironically enough, testplaying Soma Spirits is one of the things that made me feel like working on game projects myself again. Weird how these situations can play out, right?

Anyway, regardless of what you decide to do when, I hope you can accomplish something positive with it, and perhaps you'll find inspiration again soon. Best of luck!
It's completely normal to hit walls! It's honestly a part of being talented, I say. If you hit walls, that means you're likely always trying to improve instead of milking what you have.

For me, I always naturally find my way out of a wall. A bout of inspiration hits me and suddenly what I try works and it's all easy for a while again.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

You've hit burnout! Time to muck around with something else for a while until you get recharged. Your brain needs entertainment food!

Yesss.

I had this burnout feeling for a few weeks recently and just now started working on a project again daily. (even if a small amount)
Why not remake Soma Spirits in VR? That should keep you busy for a day or two, I think.
