Okay, I've looked in a lot of places on the web, but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Creating Mini-Maps (XP)
I've noticed in many games that maps or mini-maps are created, and even show your current location. I would like to know how it's done, if it's not too much trouble.

I'd like some help to get rid of the front view on RPG Maker XP. Mostly because I can't find any battlers for the sprites I'll be using.
Also, I need some help with a decent switch system. Since I have no idea how do to actually do one.

I just can't seem to figure out how to use a button to make my character jump in a certain direction when pressed... this sounds like such a stupid question from here, oh well. Help please?

I know I've asked a lot lately... but >.> I really do appreciate the help.
Anyways... as the subject stated, I was wondering how to do a character switch system. That way, you could go passed the 4 party limit... and switch characters if need be (obviously). And... I'm just not sure how to do it.

A New Question
I want to start a stealth portion of my game, and I'm not sure how I would be able to make it so if an NPC sees the player passing in front of them, then they get caught and you have to start over. If anyone can help me, I would be very greatful. Thanks for your time... again.
Odd happening here...
I'm using RPG Maker XP. I'm a new at this, so I might be a common newbie error, but for some reason, I transfer my character to another map, and it's stuck in that spot. I've tried to figure out what went wrong, but I just can't figure it out. If there's no other solution that anyone can figure out, should I just create the map over again?
