Also as a slight nitpick, I'd move the interface stuff SLIGHTLY just so that all pixels align! I think you actually just have to move the PULSE/BEAT info one pixel to the right.

Yeah, we're gonna fix the interface a bit this week since the resolution go t a li'l janky and there's stray pixels that need to go lol.
As for the background, we're just using the regular tiles for 'em. We used to just have it so the background map blurred a bit while the interface appeared on top, but that got too weird with certain mapping events...

I really dig the palette you're using for this area. The colors are very easy on the eyes IMO.
Thanks! I feel like the dim rainy weather filter MV gives the screen also kinda gives it a nice melancholy, but cozy, look.
