I haven't touched the scripts as of yet, I was going to do all that after I had finished the mapping.
I have edited the title script to move the dialog box up to the middle of the screen. That is all.

Yes I am running it in test play. What does the star mean?

Before I start, I have looked everywhere I can for a solution to this but have found no one with the same problem and can't help me. I have had many problems before but I refrained posting on this forum since after a half hour of lurking I always found my solution, until today.
This has never happened before. But I had just made about 15+ maps and did all the events, shops, map settings etc and when I went to play test, I can't move my character. After button mashing my keyboard I figured out I can move if I hold down the ctrl key which I figured is a bug.
What is the cause of this? I really hope I don't need to start again because I'm making this game for my girlfriend for her birthday and I won't have time to complete it if I do :(
Any help or suggestions will be very helpful and appreciated.
