Getting ready for a weekend of D&D. I can't wait!~ It's just a pity I have an exam first...

Good luck on the exam! So that's the paper and pencil D&D, right? It's been about 25 years since I have played it.
25 years? That's a long time. It's been just less than half a year since I've played pen-and-paper. We've mostly had to switch to online play now.

Yeah, it was my older brother who was into it. He was the dungeonmaster. In a sense, that introduced me to the world of RPGs.

I thought you were talking about "Dance Dance Revolution," there.

Yeah...I remember playing D&D only once back in high school many years ago with a couple of "nerdy" friends that I had. I was curious because I've never played it before. And they tried their best to explain it as much as they could in terms I could understand. I thought it was a pretty interesting game but, hot damn, does it sure take a long time for a single game to end. I played it for awhile, but quickly got bored and went back to playing basketball and in-door soccer in the gym. Fun while it lasted. ^^

So how did it go? I remember rolling all those dice with the different numbers of sides.
@ Addit: DDR? Haha, I've never actually played that, but I do want to. Yeah, sessions do take a while to wrap up. There's just so much that needs to be done, after all. If you had fun, then that's time well spent. ^_^

@edchuy: 'Twas fun and eventful! One character perma-died (not mine, luckily), we saved our home town twice, Tiamat regained her godhood and I got to torture someone and lock him in a basement. Good times.

Good for you! So was the torture you handed out Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer
style or you just went medieval on him?
