I would not have bothered to start transferring system data to my New 3DS if I realized it doesn't take the same SD card as the previous system.

Nintendo is really pulling a lot of bullshit with this new system. Especially given that the ONLY reason I bought it in the first place is that the new virtual console games were unplayable on the old system because of pixel perfect whatever (AKA Nintendo wants more money).

AND TETRIS HAS DISAPPEARED FROM THE STORE GODDAMMIT NINTENDO WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT
I transfers the contents of 2 smaller SD cards (4gb) to larger cards (32gb iirc) for my kids and it went fine. (i bought a couple of Nindie Bundles on humblebundle and 4gb wasn't enough space). They were for 2DSs though.

Yeah, there was no reason for things to have screwed up like they did, but they did, so I'm paranoid. :(

not to mention you have to take off the bottom panel of the system--with a very tiny screwdriver--just to change the damn card. I do like my New 3DS but was there really no room on the outside of the system for the same regular SD card slot?
