So, about tilesets...
Hey all,
Having a great time with MV and have been testing its limits over the past few days, possibly with the goal of making a full game with it in the future. A barrier to this though, and something that has plagued my previous attempts at games design is my lack of artistic skill, a flaw that will realy stick out in a game with custom tilesets.
Does anyone know of any useful tutorials or advice that helped you with this kind of thing?
Thanks guys,
TMTM

[RMXP] [RMMV] A Newcomer Approaches... With A Question!
Hello everyone. Hope you are well.
I have just made this account to have a look at different development tips and the likes but I also have a pretty urgent question I need to resolve.
So right now, on Steam, there is a sale going on for all of the different versions of rm and I just snatched XP for about £2, and I love it to death, it's so much fun to play with. I do have the goal however to possibly make a full game with this software. However, I have also seen on Steam the MV version for a pretty good price and was wondering if it was worth my money, or if I should just stick with XP.
Also worth mentioning is I dont have the best hardware in the world, below are my specs:
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
16 GB of DDR3 RAM
Windows 10 Pro
Nvidia 9600 GT 1GB GPU
TL;DR - What are the notable differences between XP and MV, and do they make one version better than the other?
