Final Fantasy IV Alter Destiny Intro + First Battles
i am finding Royal Air Force to be strange for wording in this old game. maybe change the text to Royal Baron Fleet instead? i know you want to use something instead of Red Wings so it's not overused, i just thought it could be improved a little :)

would be a fun idea to have built into game, walk to up to a globe, hit the action button then view it in its 3D element and move it around for a view with your hand.
Final Fantasy IV - VX Review
the biggest things for me to create the ultimate version of FFIV are as follows :
A) original script plus anything lost in translation, gotta have that exact storytelling in play, but add the extras too.
B) adding in the real movie sequences and additional scenes in the DS remake are great and add to fleshing out missing parts of the story.
C) perhaps have a party select for the end game to finish Zeromus, also maybe add a rare item to cure Palom/Porom at Baron Castle that you get from the moon, either by stealing or battle?
D) perhaps some end game items to buy or find for other party members you choose to select.
E) i love my Meteo but i wouldn't mind Lightning 1/2/3 instead of Lit 1/2/3, and i wouldn't mind full names for Summons.
F) i wouldn't change up the class archetypes and abilities that much. Kain should have jump and maybe one more utility skill at his disposal...maybe that Pressure ability Golbez has in FF4:TAY. upgrade Edward/Yang/Cid/Palom/Porom/Fusoya/Tellah to their DS skillsets.
G) i don't really care too much about Whyt, but i wouldn't mind if you included more droppable or searchable summons for Rydia to get access too. maybe one for early, mid and late game. Chocobo for early game, Gloomwing for mid game, Pink Puff for her late game summon.
H) include some end game super bosses for another challenge from the DS series, Geryon, Proto-Babil, and Zeromus-EG with revisited difficulties.
I) keep the boss fights nearly the same, maybe give those that need a difficulty increase a tweak and/or a new ability, keep their iconic weaknesses and abilities the same, just add to it, don't take away.
J) i cosign the encounters scaling back... if and when i want to grind levels, gear or summons i will do it then, but when i want to play through the story and advance i don't want to be fighting a long series of battles.
