1. code new stuff
2. check in
3. build fails
4. fix stupid Python typo or some shit
5. repeat steps 2-5 until success
6. promote to prod
7. tell ankylo about some weird shit breaking somewhere else
8. ankylo fixes it first try and also makes your stuff work better somehow

Don't worry, YM, we've all broken the site at least once. Or twice. Or more. The key is identifying what you did that time and not doing it again (in other words, finding other ways to break it instead :DDD )
