I am truly sorry if I am just missing something but I really start getting frustrated because I don't know what to do at the Tamers Academy to to defeat the instructors Wyvern with a slime. If someone could tell me what to do I would be very thankful because I'm stuck there for quite a while.

All you have to do is ignore that quest till you get to the part of the game that gives you the enhance monsters tutorial. After that all you need to do is enhance your level 10 slime into a metal slime then level up that metal slime to level 12 like I did and beat the instructors wyvern.

Edit #2: WheelmanZero, I just used insight on the Aegis 03: Salvation and part of the description says but we need to focus its the other components first. That needs to be changed to either but we need to focus on its other components first or but we need to focus on the other components first.
