[SMW] LAX: A Relaxed New Collaborative Hack
[SMW] LAX: A Relaxed New Collaborative Hack
I'm putting together a new collab SMW hack. It is still in early stages but with steady progress with 3 completed levels, 1 that just needs a secret exit path, 2 near complete and a few more WIP so far. Some plans for the overworld as well but development won't start until all or at least most levels are started. I intend to encompass many different styles and difficulties though my levels so far have been influenced by Japanese authors such as Anikiti and Hai Mari, VIP series generally while difficulty around Standard: Hard and Very Hard going by SMWC's ranking. Pretty relaxed goals, just a collection of levels. The anonymous level submissions is an idea to give the hack more of an identity but it may not stick. More information here. Thank you.

Old/Lost RpgMaker Games - SegNin's Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic
Hi, a bit vague but there's an RM2k demo that I had years ago but I don't remember the name. I believe it was on a site that had shut down but had a placeholder of a tonberry saying that it would return one day but I don't think it did. Anyway, here's the vague description: I think it had a CBS and CMS, it was about school-aged characters, I think early on they went to a bowling alley/roller rink or something where the story kicked off, I think the character sprites used the 'tall' style like Chrono Trigger, and it featured midis of Jamiroquai – Virtual Insanity and Coldplay - Trouble, among others I can't think of at the moment.
Another, much more vague description: it used Terranigma graphics for the main character and shrunk him down on the overworld along with the other characters Chrono Trigger style. Probably had a CBS of some kind as well. Demo I'd imagine. That's it haha

Given the nature of the project, any amount of experience is welcome. This could be your first level or your 100th. In fact, I hope to give some new designers a platform with this project. I have years of experience with Lunar Magic so I'm willing to help guide or insert resources for you to use. You're free to make any number of levels you desire, there are no requirements really.
Apply here. Thank you.
