Secret of Mana, anybody?

So i have heard from many people that Secret of Mana is one of the best classic snes rpgs to play. however, the few times i've attempted to play it i've not really been able to get into it. that may or may not change today, as Shanghai Pete is forcing me to sit down and play through it, live on the internet.

Under-Rated Games People Should Play

I will always be a firm supporter of FF: Mystic Quest, as many of you already know

What RMN games should I play and stream live? (also another snes marathon)

okay i think runelords and razor are on the list, which will be good because they both seem to be little demos. I may be more inclined towards demos and shorter games, so i can showcase more games and not have to cut any short for time (although i'm sure some are going to fall into that later category).

So, as of now, i am looking at july 20th for this showcase, although i will make a more official announcement at some point. right now, the games that are likely to be shown are:

star stealing prince
wither
~RaZor~
Runelords: Atramentus Rising
The Amazing Captain Skull
Mass Effect Chronicles

also, any suggestion for games made in less common engines? going for variety.

I am also interested in 'underdog' kinda games, like ones that haven't gotten much attention. Does anyone have any RMN hidden gems to suggest?

okay, start stealing prince is definitely on the list.

i was checking out wither and that one's likely too.

but thanks, i've got a few to take a look at now. <3

well, i like a lot of snes jrpgs. FF 4-6, Mystic Quest, Seventh Saga, chrono trigger etc,

So i'd definately be more willing to get into something like that for a long term game, but i'm also just kinda interested in games that people think would be fun to see someone play for the first time and puzzle through.

weird or unique in-game systems would be fun, games that break from the jrpg format of rpgmaker, and really anything people want to see.

if anyone wants to see me play through something they themselves have made, i'll do it. just let me know.

Here is a video.

Hey yall,
HKR here. As some of you know, I've been playing around with ustream a bit. I've mostly been streaming unscheduled sessions that consist of either live gameplay stuff or live photoshoppery (mostly monster drawings for weed universe). Last month, i streamed a marathon of Mystic Quest, and this month i'm doing Super Mario rpg.

For my next event, I was thinking of doing something a little more indie. Maybe some kind of showcase of a few RMN games (or one really good one), probably sometime in mid july.

So what do you think? What RMN games should I stream? Demos and incomplete games are okay, as long as they are complete enough to look at and say something about. When you are recommending a game, let me know why you think it would be good for the showcase, how long you think it will take me to play it, and if it is a demo, let me know a little bit about what the content of the demo is like, if it shows combat, if it mostly backstory, etc...

so yeah, what should i play live online for your amusement?
