Somehow, the clothes and the knife remind me of Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai.

I think I side with shiningriver on this one. It does look modern and elegant, but it's more fit for an otome VN.

Loving the purple roofs! :D Although yeah, seconding Demicrusaius: I think the trees in the middle of the connecting road seem to take too much space.

There's also this stack of wooden boxes (in the upper right corner of the map) that looks kinda off, but that's just me, I guess :D Overall this looks great. :D
