BABYJEEZUS'S PROFILE

First, let me start out by saying that I am not sure if this is the right place for this post. I saw the Jobs title so I figured this would be closest.

With that out of the way let me jump into it...

I have been toying with the all the rpg maker programs since I was a teenager. While I have really good ideas for games and love most aspects of it the one thing I can't stand is mapping. Compared to editing the database and creating items classes and actors and things like that it just bores the crap outta me. When I try to my make my own maps they come out looking like a first grader did them.

Something I have wanted to do for a long time was get with a few people and work together with those people to make a game. I'm not talking about getting an artist or even a programmer. I'm talking about 2 or 3 other people who might enjoy certain aspects of the development process or people who might have an idea and want to see it through.

There are no prerequisites for this group I'm trying to form other than a common interest in making new rpg's with new ideas and stories that have never been done before. As a matter of fact, I have one now that is comedic and its something that has never been done before. (At least to my knowlesge) I feel that if I can get a group of people together we could make an epic rpg. To keep things simple it wouldn't be a commercial game but, if this game was made well enough and the people involved got along well enough then it could go in that direction later.

I sit at home all day as I am physically disabled. I have a hernia coming out of my stomach so I have plenty of time and would really like a project to work on. I just feel that doing something as large as making a game would be better to do with a group than just myself.
