Commands in events don't happen in order?

Hello. Im using rm2k3 and sometimes the command in the event happen all at once. For example, Im making a cutscene where one event is supposed to appear in a certain place after another event (autorun) is finished and is supposed to move forward a few steps, then there is a message, and then the sprite glows. But Instead, when I enter the map, the event is already at the side of the screen glowing and the message immediently comes up. The event is activating by the action key and I used multiple pages and tried putting switches at the end of every page activating the next one. Has anyone else had trouble with all the commands happening at once? This is really complicated so I don't know if anyone can explain it; I'll have to keep experimenting...

(RM2K3) I use the move event and the hero won't stop moving???

So it won't stop moving until it reaches the edge of the screen and can't move anymore. This happens no mater how many spaces I select for it to move, 1, 3 or 9 or whatever. It worked properly on another map though. I only want the hero to move 3 spaces. I set the event to auto-start.

Big Problem! Main character is invisable.

I'm using Rpgmaker 2003. I was really working hard on a game and I deleted all the characters in the database because I wanted to start fresh (set the array size to 0). I created a new character but it's invisible. When I test the game I can still move around and go to other maps. but there is no graphic for the character. I've tried using the basic character graphics but nothing works. Help...
