RMN APRIL 2015 PODCAST PART 1

Actually, loli isn't about that at all. It was actually about denying the male gaze to those who wore the fashion. In Japan, children are not considered attractive (except to creepy fuckers, of course) and thus, as part of the movement to deny men their sexuality, teens started dressing in a fashion that was considered for young girls to wear in order to not only look pretty and express themselves, but also to stick it to the patriarchy that demanded they start dressing another way now that they were of adult age. The fashion of lolita is based around looking too young to be sexually preyed apon.

Only the Western audiences began taking it as more sexual as it was conceived to be due to their initial exposure being of young girls being put in sexual positions - because there will always be creepy fuckers.

Hentai is not supposed to be something that is viable - hence subjects like rape, torture, monster, bestiality, bondage, pedophilia and the like. It is supposed to be based around fantasy/kinks and not supposed to be based on things that you're allowed to do - it is an outlet for one's desires that are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Western audiences, however, took the sexuality from it and made it seem like a normal thing - as though it was a representation of other cultures' allowed practices. This is not the case.

Okay I see where you're coming from and I did know about the origins of lolita just there has been people misusing the term in the last year or so so I've kinda been on edge around people using it.

RMN APRIL 2015 PODCAST PART 1

I don't want to sound rude or anything but I've been wanting to say this. I think it would be better if you strayed away from using "shota" and "loli" as it goes into the culture of sexually treating childhood. I haven't gotten the time to listen to this podcast yet so I don't know the exact context of the use but yeah.
