Essence is still in progress. Its merely on hold. We just can't work on it. Life is just too busy right now.

This weekend, if I'm not busy painting and studying, I will fix some bugs and maybe release it as an unencrypted game. At this point, if someone steals my sprites and tiles, it won't matter. At least 20% of my tiles are repsrites of stuff I saw in FFLegends screenshots. Music wasn't even encrypted so thats not a problem... and all sound effects are from other games so that is no big deal.

Oh wow lol. I just now noticed the "hiatus." I didn't even know it was cancelled XD. As long as my tiles still exist I will continue to keep Essence alive :P.

Cloud, Sora, Vincent, Aeris, and other Square Enix D-bags will be replacing the main cast of Essence :D! The new title name will be Tetsuya Nomura Essence. Qaros will have leather belts around every building and each shop will now be a hair salon since hair is the only way you can tell the difference between FF characters.
