You internet kids are all the same, you think you know how things work and then you find later on you know nothing. The difference between you and I, is that I have a degree in criminal justice, and I also work closely with several legal entities regarding internet and copyright law. Not that I'm better than you or anyone, but the point is that I know exactly what I'm talking about, and you do not. You're free to disagree with what you want, but you're in for a rude awakening if you think what you're saying is correct.
When you find out you're wrong, don't say you weren't already told.
BTW stop getting your legal information from places that really know nothing about the law and there is a significant difference between how people think law works, and how the law actually works.
Have a good night.

Well kentona you can think whatever you like but the fact is anyone can take any script on this site that does not have instructions and do whatever they want with it. They can even copyright and legally sell them and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Why, because when products are release for FREE or paid for, they are required to have 2 things, warning labels, and INSTRUCTIONS anything released without proper instructions is not a valid product and is thus not subjected to those laws.
And since you the thing you do not seem to understand is that everything you said means nothing please feel free to disagree with what I said all you want, but it's not going to change the fact that the only person who gets credit is the one who did the work.
That's the way it is. I really have nothing further to say to you because you will try and argue this until the cows come home because you don't understand how things work and you will constantly try to turn this around.
Also in school you have to quote the source or something that is written, but this isn't a written aspect, this is about who legally gets credit. By your logic, anyone that gets a script working the author has to credit all those people whenever they use it because doing work to get it to work is the exact same thing as typing it all up and uploading it. You absolutely cannot one side this.

I didn't bother wanting to create an account until now but after watching this for the past few days I am going to give my input. After very, very carefully seeing what is really going on with this site,
While I don't agree with some of the stuff MPC4utube talks about, he does make several valid points. For example, people on this forum cause trouble, and then don't like how they're being spoken to. Another point is, how people whom actually cause the problems in the first place, always shift the blame onto the people they caused the problem with, and then acting like they are doing whatever they're doing for no reason at all. And that brings me to this part of kentona's reply:
You full well know he is referring to maturity level of people and not actual games. So you can just quit acting like an idiot.
Now I want to address this part of kentona's reply:
Now Let me clue you in on something that is very real and hoe the LAW works.
The scripts on this site have no instructions with 2 aspects of them
1. They do not explain how to put them into the RPG maker.
2. There are no instructions on what menus and options you need to go through to access the script as well as no instructions about how to use it once you access it it.
While you are correct, about how people don't have the right to say what can and cannot be allowed to be posted, as it's not their site. Please be advised that because the scripts have no instructions in them, then no one on this site has any authority to tell people what they can and cannot do with things that have no instructions either. Let me clue you in one the reality behind this situation and something that is very real. First off The sites TOS means absolutely nothing when it come to this specific situation because,
If the uploader is making other people do the work for them in order to get it to work, which is exactly what's going on here, then they have absolutely no legal rights to it, and nor does anyone else on this site. No one on this site can tell anyone what to do with the scripts and or programs either, because when you make someone else finish work you did not complete, then it is no longer YOUR WORK, the work now belongs to the person you forced to do it.
This situation looks at WHO did the work,
Is it the uploaderthe uploader, or the person who had to run around and do tedudious amounts of work to get working what was not explained> I'll give you a hint, it's not the uploader.
Also be advised that when you make someone else do your work, then they do not need to credit anyone for any part of it and are fully and legally allowed to take all the credit.
Let me further explain the situation
When people decide they want to turn the internet into college and school making people do work. You don't get credit for work you did not do and the sites TOS is 100% irrelevant. it's like mods to any game, once you upload a mod to the internet it becomes property of the game creator and you no longer have any legal rights to it.
While MPC4utube may have gone a little overboard and probably he said that to get a point across, he is 100% correct about saying if you upload something and cannot explain it then you don't deserve to have it remain on the internet.
Again turning the internet into school means someone else is doing the work and you no longer have any legal rights to it and no one on this site can tell anyone what to do with the scripts.
So I strongly suggest that anyone who wants credit for this, that you cut the crap and provide instructions and quit turning this into college and school making other people do all the work, and then trying to take credit for it.
That's how things actually work.

....if you don't play games, then why are you watching a tutorial on how to make games?

Also, you have no right to dictate what can and cannot go on this site, since you are not the owner/operator. That's how things work.
