[RMXP] First time spriting.

author=Toaster_Team

Wow, that edit is pretty good. The black outline does it make her look more cartoonish than I would personally do, but it's still so much better than mine. Thank you for your input everyone! I hope to get better and show off my improvements!

Wow, I didn't even see these responses, thanks guys! Feet are my weak point in drawing too.

Now that you've noticed the highlighting switching, I can't not see it.

Composer (Super Duper Totally Free)

It's a shame I'm still only in pre-production. Good luck!

What are you thinking about? (game development edition)

My first project isn't based off of anything specific, but the name came from a book about Eleanor of Hainault, where I just liked the sound of Hainault and Calais together and said 'Hanais'. Mages aren't rare but they weren't really disliked much, until the new sovereign came into power. Then she started prosecuting and executing mages.

The one I just thought of today is either a historical game. Either realistically, or alternative history. One of my fave time periods is the Wars of the Roses to Tudor periods, so it would be around then as that it my strong point. It wouldn't be a murder mystery style, though. I know those are popular haha. I wonder if people would like the idea of a steampunk Tudor period? Because Victorian Steampunk is popular, but it's so popular that a lot of it is getting cliched.
Speaking of Tudor stuff, anyone know if I can find any Tudor sprites? Or anything that relates to somewhere between 1400 - 1600 in English history?
Because chances are if I can't I might have to make all of my sprites and I'm not good at that, derp.

Meat Your Maker Review Event (Week 5 Deer Sausage)

WELP. I just decided to try this and then suddenly it's over. Aw... maybe next time.

EDIT: I'm dumb I read it wrong. THERE'S STILL A CHANCE FOR ME YET.

You don't understand... Edgar is the one in the hole.

That's what you're supposed to think...

Nah, I'm kidding idk what I'm talking about.
There's nothing related between them apart from good-looking and popular.

[Poll] Feedback Needed: Which faceset looks better?

Yeah, I prefer the lines of the bottom one but I prefer the skin tones in the top one. The bottom ones look pale in comparison, and it's always nice (imo) to capture skin nuances.

[RMXP] First time spriting.

Hi everyone, hope this is the place to put this. I've been itching to make my own character set for ages, but always thought I was too rubbish to do it. However, I saw a character sheet that has the run/dash animation all of the time and I was like 'I NEED THAT' and I didn't want to just edit the sprite with bits of other sprites.
So I've just finished a full sheet for a character in one of my projects, using a template from an unknown artist (google image search is currently failing me). I'm personally quite happy with her, considering she is my first attempt at digital art that actually looks like something lol.
Please give me feedback? I'm aware she probably needs polishing.

[RMXP] Absolutely cannot figure out script layout.

No, I totally get it now! In theory, at least! I'm halfway through a sprite sheet design so I haven't edited the script any further yet, but at least my brain doesn't hurt quite so much at even the thought of reading scripts.

Thanks! And thanks for not implying I'm some kind of moron for not being able to get it! :)

[RMXP] Absolutely cannot figure out script layout.

Hi everyone, I'm using several scripts people have made (the 1 player menu and battlescript by Tigurus Fay and thankfully they are extremely easy to use), however I am trying to implement game_guy's version of the quest log. I've installed it correctly as per the instructions and created a Journal item and can use it to bring up the quest menu. However, I can't seem to figure out how to actually ADD quests. I've read through the script's instructions and my brain seems to be melting. I can't make any sense of it in terms of where I should be putting the quest information and phases.
Could someone please tell/show me where I should start putting the relevant quest info?
