Long live the beards! Had to post this, even if only Addit cares about this ... Time to move on to the NBA, and, continue following the NFL and Soccer (real "Football" for all non-Americans). Sorry Canadians, no NHL.

54 days until X-mas ...

BAH. It's always the Red Sox. The Reds actually didn't do too bad this year. Neither did the Bengals, surprisingly. That game against the Jets floored me. I was sure we'd lose to them.

So, Isrieri, you're an Cincy fan, I take it. The Reds weren't too bad but they seem to have faded towards the end of the season. The Bengals are doing OK, although losing to the Dolphins last night hampers their playoff round bye chances quite a lot, although they should win the AFC North, unless they get beaten by their Division rivals.
You guys are talking about baseball, right?

Gotta hand it to you, Ed – you predicted it.

That’s the second team I’ve picked from the beginning of the year in Baseball only to eventually lose to the BoSox in the American League Championship before going on to win the World Series (I picked Cleveland in ’07 only to have to lose to Boston the only other year I was close). *sigh* Oh well. Good job Boston on winning its 3rd title in the last 10 years. (Guess that kinda makes up for all those years they didn’t win and were supposedly “cursed”.)

I’ve already moved on to the NBA, NFL and, of course, the NHL. I still am not completely sure who’s going to the win the Stanley Cup (although, those Leafs are looking pretty scary as of late, same with those blasted Sharks) or the NFL (but I think I wrote down somewhere that Houston Texans might win…? Pfft), but I’ve already thinking Clippers & Heat for the NBA finals this year – but that’s too early.

So, congrats Boston and edchuy for picking a winner.

I'll just go hang my head in shame over in the corner over there...

They should have done better with all that starting pitching. I guess Miguel Cabrera playing injured, really showed that Fielder is more limited than people would like to believe ...

Addit, such a good sport ... regarding the NHL both you and kentona have me overwhelmed in terms of knowledge (and interest), so no predictions from me. With regards to NFL, it's a hard call but I'm gonna guess whoever wins the AFC West plays either the Saints or Packers in the Superbowl. In the NBA, Miami will repeat for the East, while the West is unclear, but I suspect OKC will make it. Miami, I suspect will be champion again. Also, I would mind if the Lakers managed to miss the playoffs like those damn Yankees did.

And Addit, your punishment has been considered effectively served. I grant you your pardon.

What about the Seattle Seahawks? Although I don’t think they’re going to make the Superbowl this year they’re certainly one of the best teams in the NFC right now beside the Packers and the Saints.

And I forgot about OKC. I suppose they got a decent chance, but I dunno…!
