Hello!
So recently I found some old notes from when I was little and when I made a bunch of horror stories and stuff, and I decided to make a game based off one of the games!

Its name is Dark Rose, it is a free fantasy horror adventure game made in RPG maker VX ace. I’m going to say it should be rated 18 + due to gore and blood.

I’ll get straight to the point. This game is not a happy game, nor does it have a happy ending at all. I do not want it to be very triggering.

Dark Rose is about a girl named Meagan getting trapped into a strange world. It is a prequel in my series of games.

Meagan and her older brother Randall are walking to Meagan’s new school. Along the way Meagan stops because she sees a sign with black roses growing beside it. Curious, she picks one up only to prick her finger on a thorn.
All of a sudden the sign is dripping in blood and says

“Dance the dance of death for you shall die today Meagan”

Once she blinks the sign is back to normal. Rushing to catch up to her brother she just brushes the sign off as nerves.
Once at school Randall decides to look around by himself, so the two separate but it’s not to long until Meagan hears a scream.
Rushing to the scene of the crime, she is greeted with a gray wolf hovered over a girls corpse. The wolf turns human and it is Randall.

“Meagan I can explain”

She screams.

All of a sudden the school is transformed into a dark world, and its inhabitants aren't too fond of Meagan. Randall is nowhere to be found and the only friendly looking people are twin sisters named Ciel and Nina, both whom Meagan gets a bad vibe from.

They say the world is just very eccentric. Meagan doesn't buy it.

The twin’s state the world is made by a witch named Luna. Luna wants to kidnap Meagan for some unknown reason.
But Luna is willing to let Meagan leave her world if she can survive the horrors and solve puzzles that leave clues about her linage.

And so Meagan steps into the world.

The main task of the game is exploring the world, solving puzzles which will give Meagan clues on her family, the world and why Luna wants her. Meagan will also be in situations where a wrong move can cost her life.

This game will contain:
Body horror, Murder/death, eyes, possible scenes with eye strain?, gore, cannibalism, amputation, decapitation ….etc etc I think your starting to maybe get the hang of it.

There may be a chase scene or two in the game, I’m quite unsure at the moment.
Since I state this is a prequel of some sorts, you do not need to worry about my other future game projects. This is the first game of the series, and it doesn't give any spoilers for the other three games. While it gives implied information for some events in the other games not much is stated.

It will have four different worlds, all which are like different chapters and multiple endings.

Alright now let’s get to what I’m looking for! This could get pretty lengthy haha
I’m looking for: An editor, Tileset artist, Sprite/Pixel artist and a music composer.
I don’t mind your skill level at all for any of this! This is my first game, why not let your contribution be the first as well?

Alright now the lengthy part. What I’m looking for in each of the jobs.

Editor: Mostly someone to go and review my game scripts, point out my typos and grammar mistakes (English is not my first language + I have a learning disability)

Tileset artist: It should be self-explanatory? Basically some creepy tilesets….. Since I haven’t planned out each world this is just…. Vague?

Sprite/Pixel Artist: I’ll be honest….. I have zero clue how to make sprites… I’ll be pretty preoccupied with the in-game art plus the talk sprites so this would save me a huge load off my chest. There are around 5 main characters, plus the inhabitants of the world. Some characters, like Randall might have to have extra misc sprites (eg one with their usual outfit, and one with wolf ears and a tail) It be great if you could be able to gory stuff with them too. Also the sprites should be like around this height?

I really liked the sprites mogeko did in mogeko castle haha.

Music Composer: I’ve got a few songs from some sites but I really…really would love to have a few custom songs! Its even a bonus if you can sing…. Since I kinda would like the ending song to be sung, but if you can’t that’s fine! I’m looking for spooky scary suspense music, mysterious/fantasy-like sounds and stuff with lots of violin like music!

I cannot pay you, but I will credit you 100%, plus I’ll let you play the game before everyone else. I hope it isn't a bother if you could stay till the game is 100% done it be great.

As for previous works I have a few screenshots of old maps and stuff, so I hope this is good? The rest of my stuff is to embarrassing to show
