Problems with Windows 7
You can't run those in Linux unless you have Wine (I think it is).
I'd use XP mode but my comp doesn't support it, even if it can run XP. :|

Problems with Windows 7
I am also having this problem... seems that the players load the games very slowly on Windows 7, and yes for somereaosn A New Earth won't play.
Now, my computer is only three years old, which means most of its hardware is still alright, but I don't see how this is a hardware problem. I thought it would be more of a software problem, considering that it is an OS that effects whether it runs or not. Problem if I dual boot though is lack of HDD space. I cannot afford to split my harddrive into three partitions (its already two), because I would run out of space on atleast one partition. Plus the bootloader will change to the XP one, and I'll have to piss about getting the command line things to tell it that W7 exists on another partition.
Anyone know if Microsoft will release an update to deal with this, or will I have to reinstall and dual boot XP to get rid of any compatability issues?
Alternatively, if anyone knows of a program that will replace the default RMXP/VX players with new ones, that work fine in Windows 7, then please let me know.

What Drives Your Villains?
Not wanting to give too much away, but the motives of my characters (protagonist and antogonist) are the same. They both want revenge. It's just the final outcome and they achieve that, that ends up defining them.
I have tried to make characters that the players will understand... well, try to show that the evil guys are not that different from the good guys. There will be cutscenes that will also provide a backstory to the characters... show why the are what they are, and basically to fill in plot gaps.
