How did you and rpg maker meet?
One of my classmates in high school showed it to me in 2010. He moved onto different engines, but I (so far ) have stuck with RPG Maker. I even got people on board with several of my projects.
My introduction
I thank all of you for the warm welcomes. I'll make sure to post frequently and get some projects going. Also,
I didn't know these existed until you mentioned them. I guess you learn something new every day (thanks, Google).

Thirded.
Also, welcome to RMN! Hawkins Cheesies are the best corn-based-cheese-flavoured snack food ever.

My introduction
Hi, this is Hawkinsoft123, posting my introduction topic.
I've worked with RPG Maker, but haven't done anything too advanced. Mainly, I've worked with 2003 and VX Ace.
Right now, I'm working on two projects. One is a more serious project, which I have tentatively called "Nexus". Its basic premise is to turn a traditional cliche (save the princess) into a brutal deconstruction. I've got a bit of the story and characters planned out; I just need to get a game version working to show it off. I may post the idea in one of the other forums to ask for suggestions on it.
The other project I am working on is Tales of Travion. Some people may know of this project, as it is hidden on this site and was made in RPG Make 2003 with one of my friends from high school. However, I don't have access to the account that posted it, and chapter 4 needs to be redone so that the first part of the game can actually be completed. However, I'm pondering remaking this game in VX Ace so that I can use the character generator and have the graphics not be so cheesy looking (even though that was the whole point of them). The story would still be the same, despite the cheesiness of it at times.
I'm just doing this post because I happened to see this forum as the introduction forum after I posted on another spot (about RPG's that I had beaten). Oh well. *shrugs*

RPGS... you've beaten
RPG's I've beaten
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door - 1 time
Fire Emblem 6 - 2 times, working on beating hard mode for the first time
Fire Emblem 7 - lost count, probably close to 10
Fire Emblem 9 - 2 times, working on 3rd
Fire Emblem 10 - 1 time (on easy), working on normal
Fire Emblem 11 - 1 time, working on highest difficulty level
Fire Emblem 12 - 1 time (my unit is so broken)
Tales of Symphonia - at least twice, probably 3-5
Mystic Towers - lost track, probably 3-5 (obscure dos game)
RPG's I haven't beaten (yet):
Fire Emblem 4 - on chapter 9 (out of 11 or so), but I plan on beating this one in the upcoming year
Fire Emblem 5 - on chapter 3 (I think I'm nervous about how hard it may get), but I plan on beating it in the upcoming year
Fire Emblem 8 - on chapter 14 (I think)
Fire Emblem 13 - don't actually own this one, but have borrowed it from a friend to play and I am getting close to halfway through it
Paper Mario - I think I got halfway through it many years ago
Super Mario RPG - I actually got the first star piece! Usually, croco kills me many times, so I give up.
Pokemon Yellow - have to battle Blaine next
Mario and Luigi Superstar saga - stupid minecarts!
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time - They are level ten and I'm on a Yoshi Island. That's farther than most games for me.
I haven't beaten too many RPG's because I played a lot more Tycoon, platformers, puzzle, racing, and educational games when I was younger. The ones that I've played but not beaten (excluding fire emblem 13) were emulated, which may explain why I haven't finished them. Then again, it may be due to the fact that I tend to play different types of games in short spurts.
