And for those that don't care, Psycho-Pass season 2 is out now.

If you're not watching it, I honestly don't know what you're doing with your life.

The only show I take the time to watch is Doctor Who. TV is too addicting. If I start watching anything else, I'll start sitting in front of it again. I'm trying to lose weight, not gain it.
/Hmm I guess if you like AOT, you'll probably like this too as well? The setting is in a dystopian-like futuristic world. It has lots of action and mystery if you're into that kinda thing.

I'm not really a tv-person myself (because the shows over here are crap) but yes, 9th doctor and Rose FTW! <3
OH! I do like AOT. I suppose I could give a few episodes a try. Haven't watched any new anime in forever. I've been watching Dragon Ball xD

I haven't had crunchyroll active since last time I gave away those free passes :P Maybe I'll reactivate it when more SAO or Log Horizon comes out. Or AOT, I think that's on CR..
Ahhh SAO. I've never really understood the hype. Was extremely disappointed after what's-his-name woke up and the rest of the episodes after that. Log Horizon looks a lot better compared to SAO, but it's still not that mindblowingly awesome to me.

In other news, I know some may hate the anime but I'm loving the new season of Legend of Korra. The action scenes are just beautifully done and gets me so pumped up everytime ;-;
LH is mindblowing awesome to me. I especially love how they put so much focus on actual battle and the battle system. You see them fighting, that whole part with the party of low levels learning how to fight, the way they use the in game systems in real life ways (cooking and crafting and alliances) u.u; I'm a total fanboy. Fighting the goblin king!! Hell yeah.

SAO was a little disappointing because of how things got completed. The way he wins is kinda anticlimactic. "oh no, you killed me....psych, I win". I really enjoyed the first 6 or so eps and the concept was cool so I can forgive it.
The cooking and battles were alright but I didn't like the lack of depth in the characters in LH, especially if you have 2/3 people liking the protagonist for no believable reason (like, Akatsuki or whatever her name is, the crush seemed to came out of the blue). Art style was nothing new/didn't interest me too.

Also SAO was too cliche and overhyped for me. The 'romance' was written a bit poorly. I mean, I don't really trust that 2 teenagers can take care of a kid (albeit it being virtual but still, and let alone take care of themselves). Also don't forget that little episode where the girl tried to escape the birdcage and these 2 alien thingys caught her and it almost/kinda turned into tentacle pr0n lol.
Hmm, I dunno, I never saw it that way in LH. Actually, now that I think of it I don't remember the early eps well. From what I remember they all knew each other before we were introduced to them? I should rewatch before I say much more heh I don't always examine an anime that way, so maybe we just have different ways of watching a show. But haven't you ever developed a crush on someone quickly. I know I have, without ever even directly talking to them. Not the most likely thing, but possible.

In SAO, the romance seemed fine to me. But again.. ^ .. As for them being young, many young people are wise beyond their years. Especially if they had to take care of any family members, they will know what to do. Plus they're japanese so maybe it's a cultural thing that more younger people know how to fill that roll. But uh, yeah, I'm pretty clueless about that stuff because I don't think about it when I'm watching shows! haha But yeah, the tentacle rape was pretty weird. The whole thing with the guy who put her in the cage isn't my cup of tea. It felt like they weren't using her character to the full potential, but I guess they needed a reason for what'shisname, Kirito, to hurry up and beat this new MMO haha

Maybe you're a tad picky? ;P or I'm too forgiving/clueless to see faults. I prefer my attitude of enjoying. Ignorance is bliss.

Imagine our avatars having this conversation HAHA so fitting.
If you mean love at first sight, no. Crush is something that has to build up slowly... while in LH, it seems like just your typical harem. I guess that's the 'beef' I had with the anime? o.O Idk, I've had a few similar problems with other animes I've watched. Like, if Fairy Tail was more 'serious' and had a lot less fan service, I'd liked it more. I guess I just like serious plots more! xP

Er maybe I just tend to have higher expectations when an anime is hyped. If said expectations do not meet... xD I'm not really a huge anime person myself and prefer manga (which I've also haven't read in... months.) Because with crap like fillers and stuffs, I want the anime to be worth my time. I'm not a huge fan of the romance genre (like SAO, it was pretty heavily....romanced xD) and wouldn't actively search for animes like that, but I would enjoy one if it's written very well. Like Fullmetal Alchemist, it was a bit heavy on the 'emo'/'tearkjerker'-side, but since the author executed it SO godly I ended up enjoying it much more than I thought.

Sooo I guess you could say I'm a bit picky? :P
Yeah, I've watched the 1st season and enjoyed it. Will be watching the 2nd season soon once I get out of my busy schedule.

As for SAO, the 1st season was good, but the 2nd season got a little boring, to be honest. It just doesn't have the same feel as the 1st season.

I'm not as big into anime as some of the people on this site, but some do catch my eye. I like Stand Alone Complex, S-Cry-Ed, Appleseed and others. I've tried watching Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach but just couldn't stand them. Mostly, the only way I'm going to see most anime's is by buying dvds and I'm just not going to spend the money on something I'm not sure I'm even going to like.
