Especially when you see shit like this - "I liked joey. Very bf material. Ur current bf ryt now is so meh. Meh. Meh. Mehdiocre." ahahaha
God, stop looking at me with that sexy avatar damnit!
The only FB drama I've ever been part of was stupid family stuff over people being stupid and deliberately asshats.

I wrote a post about my aunt for the 10th year anniversary of death and had described her as vivacious. Next thing I know I'm being slammed by all sides of the family for 'slandering her name' and 'being cruel and heartless'. Apparently her daughter (my cousin) had seen the word and thought it was a negative. She'd then gone to everyone and told them I was saying bad stuff about her mother online.

You'd think explaining what I meant would have solved it, but apparently they refused to believe that I knew what the word I used meant, that I'd meant to be cruel and deliberately done it to upset everyone. For the record I've always had a good relationship with the whole family - never fought with them bar the odd spat here and there, never caused any trouble - nothing that would lead them to thinking this was normal for me. Definitely hurt that they wouldn't believe me, that's for sure. I burned a few bridges emotionally that day. :/

It took me pointing out that...
- I was the only one in the family who did extra English and writing studies, had passed high-school as well as TAFE courses in writing and thus knew what the fuck I was saying when I wrote the piece and,
- that the rest of the piece was all positive stuff so why in the world would I have suddenly put an insult in there for no reason
... before they decided that maybe, just maybe, I knew what the word had meant when I used it.

(I then found out that the reason my cousin had taken offence was because earlier that day I had refuted something she wrote to my sister about some medical advice. My sister was pregnant at the time and said cousin had given her information about allergies which she 'knew was true because I've had a baby so I know this stuff'. I pointed out a few studies that contradicted her information as well as respected doctors findings about it. She never said anything after that so I figured she didn't see, but, welp!)

After that I only use FB to send messages to my sister and a few friends. And stalk said sister/friends. She always posts up images of my niece, so I save them to a special folder for safe-keeping. ^.^

I mean, look at this cutie!<3

(Ignore her mother. She's not cute.)

I kid, I kid. I love that shithead. Even if she 'borrows' my everything... >.<;
GOSH I SO RELATE TO YOUR STORY LIBERTY OLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO
reminds me of this time when I was a kid, I used to fight Judo, and we had a crossdressing day every year (lol >.>)
i think i told my teacher that I wouldn't lose and I'd make him wear a suit or something like that, something really inoccent
my stepgrandma overheard something wrong and told my whole family I was insulting and harassing my teacher, that I was calling him a fag and whatever
I had to quit judo >.>

gosh that was so silly and stupid, I lol when I remember it.
It did hurt having them not believe me but whatever, after a few more years I learnt not to care <3

EDIT: granted, this has nothing to do with fb
but it's a rather similar story to liberty's xD

I get enough with the drama that starts on youtube.
@JJ
;P

@Liberty
Okaaay that's, um, wow. o.o I don't think I'm ever gonna be in a family quarrel in fb cuz 1)My sister wouldn't add me (HAHA) 2)I wouldn't add my mom (LOL) xD

@Ratty
Youtube 'drama' is kinda different since most are anonymous and your typical meme-posting trolls while fb are usually people that you know :P
