Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis
Oh god all those doors. I know what your talking about. Cool I have a save file right at that point, so I'll be taking good advantage of that. Tell me this; is the puzzle based off of sound and tone? All you have to say is yes or no.
Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis
Okay. So I just defeated full powered Behemoth. Proof?
In fact, not only did I beat it, I did it with ease. The trick was realizing Erin made a better healer using Stim Cs and Ds instead of her First aid ability, despite being able to use First Aid every turn.
I pretty much have played your game to the utmost completion. Here's a general outline of my experience:
Beat the storyline plot, raced through story again 4-5 more times to level up underleveled extra characters, completed all of the extra material (minus X Behemoth), completed extra material AGAIN to level up party (Final extra dungeon locks up after defeating penultimate Final Boss), obtained 5 level 99 characters, and finally kicked X-Behemoth's ass.
Perhaps the only other game I have broken in more was Tales of Symphonia; I went as far as to take advantage of a Tech glitch in that game, which required copious amount of time, but was well worth it.
Here is the set of Level 99 characters I have, ranked, stats w/o equipment, straight-forward Damage per turn, and optimal equipment included. Notice how they are all A-ranked; I wouldn't spend the time grinding characters I thought weren't worth it, and I'm too lazy to give you a full eval of all the characters.
== Rank: -A ==
Leon: HP 7720 Atk 800 Grd 622 Mnd 477 Spd 16
Dmg: 2000-3000 9 (2 + 7) times every 2 turns = ~11,000 dmg/trn
Demon Cradle, Colossal Wall, EX Fac. B, Chaos.
Notes: Straight forward damage dealer. Analyze super cool, but rather moot at the end game, when elemental attributes stop playing a large role, and you stop telling us the HP of bosses OTL.
Celia: HP 5377 Atk 349 Grd 658 Mnd 999(!) Spd 18
Dmg: ~5000 x # of enemies dmg/trn
Tear of All Ocean, Minerva, AP Fac. B, Pulsar
Notes: Probably best Area of Attack skill in the game, but Dmg dealing abilities to a single enemy are only above average at best. A full powered Aether Breaker can tear out 60,000 total damage if there are 4 enemies present. The only downside is that it uses 10 AP, meaning she has 1 turn of down time before attacking again.
== Rank A ==
Lavitz: HP 4529, Atk 830 Grd 680 Mnd 475 Spd 20
Dmg: 2000-3000 8 + # of enemies times per two turns = ~12,000-20,000 dmg/turn
Demon Cradle, Minerva, EX Fac. B, Chaos
Her EX skill is only slightly better than Leon's in terms of dmg/trn. Also, in terms of Area of Effect, Swallow dance is about half as effective as Aether Breaker. But what makes her so good is that she has both; an EX skill good against groups AND single enemies. Against multiple enemies, the final two slashes deal damage to ALL enemies, not just random ones, notching the hit count up to 16 max. Against A single enemy, she only hits 10 times, but all 10 hits collect on a single enemy, which is on par with Leon. Only downside is that she is rather fragile, and you can't use her against X Behemoth.
== Rank S ==
Erin: HP 6814 Atk 512 Grd 813 Mnd 904 Spd 16
Dmg: 3000-5000 healed per character per turn
Valkyrie, Wonder Wings, Minerva, EX Fac. B, Scion
First Aid every turn. That's right; first aid EVERY TURN. Unless you are A)An Endgame boss with cheap, auto-kill attacks or B) A broken boss not intended to be defeated in the first place, she makes pretty much any three-man cell invincible.
Aila: HP 8777(!) Atk 848 Grd 972(!) Mnd 999(!) Spd 20
Dmg: 10,000 - 12,000 per turn
Tear of All Ocean, Dangling Bath Towel, AP Fac. B, Nova
Alright, her stats are pretty impressive, but what's so special about that damage per turn? Sir I like to bring to your attention the fact that she has a God mode. Ex, Mnd, and Spd boost. So you see those numbers above next to that little sign that says "Dmg:"? Double them. Also I like to point out the fact that the above says damage per turn. What it DOESN'T take into account is that each turn is based on speed, and AILA is wicked fast. Twice as fast as any other character with this equipment under God mode. So you see those numbers above next to that little sign that says "Dmg:"? Double them. Again. Finally, notice how high her defense is without any armor, and her HP. She can soak up a huge load of damage for an entity for an entity content with floating around in a bath towel.
So why am I going this far to point out how much I broke in your game? To drive home the point that I STILL have no idea which girl your talking about OTL. Can you just please discreetly tell me?
On a final note, I am STILL playing your game. That is how fun it is. Leveling up be damned.
--Edit--
WTF Erin's First Aid does NEGATIVE healing damage to Aila now. It's hurting her. This is weird; I can't beat Alter AILA anymore, even with this level 99 team. It's the same team I used to beat her in the first place except Aila and Lavitz were only in their 60s. Now Level 99 Erin heals Aila minus 700 to 1000 HP every time she uses first aid. I'm guessing Aila's high defense and mind threw your healing system out of whack. This makes me sad; my team is now weaker at level 99. Sure, Erin is a competent healer using items, but it just doesn't feel right having to use items all the time.
Also, who's the little lass you talk about in Orbital Prison.
--Edit 2--
First Aid seems to be working in order now, but I am not sure what I did to fix it. I will have to note that It does seem to do less healing to characters with higher Mnds.
Finally, who's the little lass you talk about in Orbital Prison.
You decided to award only 80,000 exp as a reward for defeating that broken boss. That and a Revivant B, I think.
In fact, not only did I beat it, I did it with ease. The trick was realizing Erin made a better healer using Stim Cs and Ds instead of her First aid ability, despite being able to use First Aid every turn.

What? Tell me the part about the little girl that you can find in game please. I'm incredibly stupid and are unsure about what your talking about. In game? What? Please tell.

@kalamity
For the rest of your questions, there really aren't any answers. Except for the identity of the little girl. You can find that out somewhere in-game ;).
WHAAT? YOU DO? MADNESS? I'm at the point where I am constructing a level 99 team to take on full powered Behemoth, and I still don't know who it is.
Wait.
Inspiration just hit me as I was writing this post.
Is it Celia?
She's not a cute little lass!
But wait. WHAT? That would mean Gray and Leon's mission was to...break her out of the Orbital Prison? And then they must have tried to bring down the Orbital Prison, but got shot down, and both Leon and Co. and the OP end up on the world of AAG...
But that would mean the AILA's or who ever Leon and Co are fighting found and locked up Celia in the first place. The notes in the prison sounded like the were written by mere humans. WHAT IS THE ORBITAL PRISON?
I thought the OP was just some random, kick-ass extra dungeon (Emphasis on the kickass part. The fact that is seemed to be just there, combined with atmosphere and mystery really appeal to me), but NO IT FITS WITH PLOT? MY MIND HAS BEEN BLOWN!

Tis a shame you can't chance classes. But it doesn't matter, since I accidentally overwrote my save file with my new game OTL.
I figured out how to but those elite classes in my party, and I'm starting to regret putting a joker in for fun. WTF man. That's all I have to say.
That's a shame, but oh well. Party imbalance for the win.

Hey thanks for the reply. I didn't even notice it; yeah I got it all sorted out, and beat the game too. Now I have a couple more questions.
Is it possible to change your party up when starting a +New Game? I notice the party registrations dude is no longer in the barracks when starting a +New Game.
How do I choose Sage, Champion, or Joker in my starting parties. I want to replay the game, this time with an optimal party instead of trying out all the classes.
Is there an item that increases experience earned for a single character when equipped? It would be useful for leveling up under-leveled party members after they class change.

The Shield of Sorrow really is a sorrowful shield. I can't seem to remove it from my female Harlequin. This is really sad, because she is now really slow. Is this a bug? Or is some kind of event needed to remove this item?
--Edit--
I got it off. Clever. I had to uncurse her. Very clever.
Also, any tips on quickly making 30,000 gold? I kind of splurged on new equiptment, and now am 28,000 short for buying a ship needed to head for Ikeia and the other place.

Wow I underestimated this puzzle severely. Congratulations for stumping me in a most grandiose fashion. Thank you for the hint.

Question:
Okay so I just beat Nightmare and was patting myself on the back when I see a cut scene indicating that a teleporty crystal in UWF 2 has just become important. So I go over there, happy, naive, and innocent and promptly get my little cherry ass raped by Alter A.I.L.A.. She quickly decimated my level 80ish party. (Leon Celia level mid 70s, Erin late 80s) Not to be daunted, I went back and loaded some of the other save files that I had. These save files had 100% completion and level 99 parties, and came with the game when I downloaded it (Don't ask why). Well, 99.9% completion should be more accurate, as none of these files had Alter A.I.L.A. defeated either. So I try my luck with the Level 99 teams on hand on those files (Leon, Lavitz, and Hawk), and Alter A.I.L.A. wasted no time inserting random cutlery into my anus. For Behemoth, you at least gave us a giant laser so we could weaken it a little first, after that it was just a lengthy battle with a huge ass monster. Alter AILA unleashes X-Novas 50% faster than the normal AILA due to her super self-buffs, and those Life Orbs have around 3 times the HP, meaning it's nigh impossible to destroy them before time runs out. My question is: Is it beatable? Even better question: should we try?
On a plot related note, what was up with those random story orbs that you had to read in the central part of Orbital Prison? The bits about "engraving this into your memory", and "please don't forget me" struck a chord in my heart and I would like to know more about the background of those entries. Who was the one talking in the orbs? Was the same person writing the notes in section 1 of the prison? The same person who goes crazy in section 3? Did he or she manage to save everyone? And is the little girl mentioned in the entries Indy, because I thought of Indy the moment I read "cute little lass"
Massive post is massive, thus I prostrate myself in apology OTZ. Besides. Alter AILA had already brought me to my knees, anyway OTL.

Screw that previous edit. I beat Alter A.I.L.A.! Final team: Lavitz 61, Erin 91, Aila 57. Good job on such a brilliant game. I look forward to Alter AILA Variant.

Sorry, but I would really like a hint for finding the shard in Oberon Tower. I tried many things, including examining the SNEWS magazine several times with different character combinations (as I noticed that Erin actually comments on the magazine if you have her in the party, and scolds Leon for looking at it if both are present) However, this doesn't get me any closer to finding that shard. Can you drop a couple more hints please?
Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis
Oh dear. I tried inserting my own soundtrack for the final battle against the storyline main boss, and I managed to successfully replace psalm of dreamers with a couple of my own tracks. However, I really want to replace the final battle music with this one song, but this particular song causes a game glitch whenever i try to play the final battle after inserting it. My guess is that the song file is too large for it to properly be processed by the game (over 10 mb). Can this be confirmed? (BTW, if anyone is curious, the two songs over 10 mb are Meikyuu Butterfly by Nana Mizuki and Blooded by Within Temptation)
