KBIPP29'S PROFILE

At the beginning of my cutscene, I have the screen pan upwards, and then left a bit. The scene runs, then the screen fades out, throws the switch to end the scene, and then player control resumes. Problem is, the screen only scrolls left or right, not up or down. What should I do?
BTW I use RM2k
