i don't think final fantasy fangames are that great.

i wish people would make more original things and pay more attention to the original things that are made.

what is original? what is in a name? (salient point: final fantasy fangames can feel "original". usually when people hunt and search for "original" what they really want is something earnest and authentic)

People love them, I could hardly be against...
But I do agree that these games don't do much for the greater development of creativity.

I like fan-games, when they actually rely on the established content. Just slapping the title on it and making it something completely different is kind of stupid.

That said, I guess the fan games have been garnering a lot of attention these past few months. Mine is really a way for me to learn how to use VX Ace by replicating things that were familiar to me.
