@KF: Well you still managed to nail 4 town in a night haha. How much of a "this game is going to give me an ulcer" schtick was an act?
other stuff... I completely forgot I saved cave's ass night 1. At the time I thought it had a 10% chance of being helpful, 5% harmful, otherwise irrelevant.
re: moderating decisions, I can't say I saw anything wrong with the OP or the actual in-game decisions. The beholder thing might've been a bit questionable, but especially Cerulean Specter town had every opportunity to figure it out when that ID turned up but all of us just thought "some imposter junk is going on" and chose to ignore it. The weasel-wording in the OP did its job. What I would not do is describe the setup as semi-open though. I knew it wasn't /fully/ open when PA stated he couldn't play because he already knew the setup, which wouldn't have been a problem in an actual semi-open game. And that happened before the game even started.
all of that was real because i got so bored and frustrated and also the thing did still happen where important people had to out so they didn't die. i am used to really fast mafia games with like ten minute days (an hour at the most if people are indecisive) and then cave asks me to join a game on here after i forget these take like literal, actual days and i just go completely nuts
i'm glad i didn't win since eventually nobody wanted me to though, that'd have been a disaster

i think the problem here is ultimately a difference in standards
so sorry, there's not really any way i can defend myself against this because that's just how i have been taught to play mafia for a few years now. if there is a clear, then we call them townlead and you do what they say you should do (unless circumstances or reasoning appears that make you suspect that they have become scum or might be scum, via conversion or otherwise). even in my first game here that was evident. even if i disagree with them, i will ultimately have to go with what they choose because that is more reasonable than doing something on my own that is detrimental and might not amount to anything.
so when a clear happens, i'm used to suddenly losing the right to individual opinions. in the types of games i've played i am even more used to claiming directly to them and being given exact orders by these people on what i should do next regarding my role. it's beyond strange to me when people still want to know what i think. so i really just don't have anything to say about that.

yes. i still think either of those would be a good idea. if not emily cuz of what seemed like a big deliberate misunderstanding that went back and forth and wasted a bunch of time until the end, then shinan for being mostly scarce (odd is in the same boat but the difference is he seems to imply he's doing this deliberately for some dumb reason and also wanted to do something as dumb as outing to prove it)

super weird person to try to kill but whatever. would still prefer to vote the previous people i put forward (with the obvious exception of gourd) because i haven't changed my mind on them, but i will defer to what gourd and demon think we should do since i am not that good at figuring stuff out i guess.
but i will say to me cave feels like village, but i guess that's standard for him because of how he plays. so i’m fine with lynching him because i usually deal with him by either working around him or just getting rid of him immediately. if you really still think he’s suspicious it’s best to deal with him either first or last. and to just do it without stalling
