BoB2k3D/ Let's Play「The World Record Poop I Saw At Target」by「Vetticon71」

Yay, the video is here on RMN now :D Haha, totally enjoyed this :) I gotta say your game is probably the second favorite I played in this event (first one is of course the Goku's Revenge one, which also did inspire me to make something and that "anything is okay" for the event :D) Glad it inspired you because I enjoyed your game a lot.

Boulevard of Broken 2k3 Dreams

Not sure if I'll sign up if you have another event like this next year since my life gets busier, but I've had the thought about what if I ended up eventually releasing close to 9,999 game profiles of each episode, each with a short demo... Probably THAT will be a great Achievement. And maybe have the most submitted game pages on this site

BoB2k3D/ Let's Play「DBZ Goku's Revenge」by「dosmaen」

Oh yay, you posted it. Good thing I didn't submit a "JosephSeraph posted this video" media submission, though I had thought about posting on the game page's main page about the video. XD
Anyway, cool and enjoyable video :D

Boulevard of Broken 2k3 Dreams

My game qualifies for Glitch 2k3 too (but that Achievement didn't exist when I submitted my game, and I didn't really know that was an Achievement until now). Also, is it okay to nominate the event's entries for MISAOS nomination? (i.e., via that "Nominate" button on a game's profile page). I've been wanting to nominate the Goku's revenge one for "Game of the Year" (and some of the other categories), like my review here claimed: https://rpgmaker.net/users/kiyasu/locker/Project1_Review_by_kiyasu.pdf Would be interesting if anyone nominates mine for some MISAOS categories too. I'm also interested in nominating other entries for some categories :D

Also, everybody's entries is unplayable for me in Windows 11 because I can't play any game before RPG Maker XP. Like I get stuck at the title screen and it doesn't recognize any input from me (but music still plays). Couldn't stream anyone's games because of this issue, and my Windows XP has issues that seem to make video recording impossible.

stuff: my 1st projet Review

This came as a total surprise and brightened my night :D It was interesting to read your interpretation of the events and story of this game, which is actually quite different from my own interpretations. *O* Also which ending you got on your first try (and glad you were able to figure out there is another ending).

I do wonder if playing on EasyRPG with Linux made some differences though. For example:
(Spoiler comments and thoughts below.)
======================================
1. The dragon on the right side of the battle screen, is actually OzzyTheOne, and Faye is somehow his transparent human form on the left during battle.

2. Oh, and also Frogge is also in the game who levels Faye up to infinity; when he levels up and gains so much power, he ends up having low HP and MP. Like probably 300-something HP out of the thousands of new HP. So, this is why Faye is saying like he is in pain. And this is why Frogge then heals Faye. Otherwise, if you enter the battle as Lv. 99 without the healing, you'd still lead to a Game Over due to the low HP/MP and "Surprise Attack!" mode of the just-transformed-into-a-dragon Ozzy.

3. I had wondered to separate the POWER UP and HEALING to make it harder to get to the ending of the demo. (But then I ran out of time and already submitted an upload, plus other things to tend to and didn't want to have released two different demos.)

4. Also, another thing that will make it harder to reach the end of the demo, even with being Lv.99, is if you try to use other Special Skills. Because if you do, you wouldn't be able to use that ONE skill for the rest of the battle anymore. Talk about being a STRATEGY game even in battle :D I made it this way by accident with my skillz.

5. Full screen toggle and sound effects hopefully making it scary and horror game-like, mixed with atmospheric walking simulator. Also maybe a computer virus or a ghost or something messed with your computer ;) Both when Faye says "WHOA!" and at the end of the demo.

6. I'm glad the "point of no return" and the part where Faye mentions he might have seen something "invisible" while his character sprite faces left (plus playing a sound effect), didn't give away the clue to find Frogge's magical appearance onto the map. I was wondering if that made it obvious enough to go "search the left," and whether the "point of no return" message was giving away too much. Not sure how many people will get to the end of the demo on the first try, since yours is the first player feedback I received. But glad you didn't quit there and found the hidden Frogge the Froggo on your second try. XD

7. Not sure how many people will find the OTHER Ozzy reference as well... it's before things get weird. There are two places where Ozzy is mentioned.

8. Reality morphs into stuff was how I saw the thing (i.e., the same island the entire game, but due to stuff and stuff and stuff that can't be explained in the demo yet, things are weird). So it's interesting you saw it as "being teleported." *O* The entire game is just one map, plus a second unused map I made for post-save at the end of the demo for its future non-demo release. But the entire demo gameplay is just one map. XD

9. Change of mood through change of fog and raining effects before and after Ozzy's main event in the demo. Also the changes in various color and tone to convey(?) mood and atmosphere change.

10. The doom and plot twist at the end of the demo. The story is about to get interesting...!
======================================

And ah, so that's what the "lzh" thing is about. I just used the engine's export feature to make an installer (not sure how to export an RPG Maker 2003 game without using the installer way). I exported the game via the engine because my Super Successful Game Project needs to have encrypted(?) game files, and it seems to be the only way in the engine.

Anyway, really exciting to go on RMN tonight to find a surprise review from you after days of messed up sleeping times and hard work on other things. Your review brought a huge chilling relax moment and mood shift for me :D

stuff: my 1st projet

Thanks, hope you enjoy it! Also curious which ending you would get on the first playthrough >:D

Boulevard of Broken 2k3 Dreams

I guess nobody made a game that qualifies for the "Alex d'Orm2k3 - Translated a foreign RPG Maker game into English" Achievement... XD...

Boulevard of Broken 2k3 Dreams

Did some further polishing today after the game page got approved.
Anyway, here's my entry: https://rpgmaker.net/games/12997/
Enjoy! (Glad I was able to turn something in...)

Boulevard of Broken 2k3 Dreams

I just finished my entry and submitted a game page, but waiting for it to be approved before I can upload the game files. :D

Also, I did submit a review for Dragon Ball Z: Gokus Revenge last month, but it was declined for "lacking detail" in the expected way, despite being long enough in another way. I didn't mind, but was wondering if it's okay to post the review here in the comments to share the fun? (Don't want to make changes to the review mostly due to time constraints and some things I need to tend to ;__; Even not sure if I'm able to play everyone's entries, like I had initially planned. I may have to scrap every plan I had for this event; such as playing every entry, writing a review for everyone, etc. Have various things to tend to in my life T_T)

At least I'll PM dosmaen the review first :P I had a fun time writing it! If it's not okay to post my review of Dragon Ball Z: Gokus Revenge here, then if anyone else wants to read it, PM me and I'll send the review there XD

Anyway, feeling soooo much better I got my entry somehow done tonight. Thanks a lot for hosting this fun event :D (I hope at the least, I'll be able to see everyone's game pages later on ;w;)

EDIT: fixed typo of dosmaen's user name.

The World Record Poop I Saw At Target

Just played and completed your game tonight, and I enjoyed it so much from beginning to end (well, except that other dimension map... my eyes!! XD), including the various parts where you can lock yourself from further progressing and how the Fire spells seems much weaker than normal attacks XD Also love all the "Fucks" and the story :D Also, that maze! Got the secret(?) weapon there and man, that was a looooong trip to get there XD Also loved that the slimes actually don't return if I reload the save :P

Anyway, thanks for the experience :D I admire how creative your entire project is :D And GREAT start to the story as well! (You got me very interested right in the beginning cut scene LMAO XD)
