Longshot

Hello RMN community! I'm krysch. A recent Computer Science graduate.
Now that I have that much time on my hands, I started practicing (again!) on the field of game development.

I'm not really new to the scene since I had minor experience with flash, XP and Game Maker, but
eventually I gave up when I tried that time. I'm reading tutorials (wikis and pdfs) while alongside following what
they were doing. While I was practicing the other day, I remembered a game that will serve as my motivation
to practice really hard. The game is called Suikoden.

After catching up with the recent updates about the franchise, I discovered that Suikoden is, as some people like
to call it, "going downhill/soon to be dead" since:
a. Konami's disbanded the original Suikoden development team.
b. They've started developing spin-offs rather than canon games.
c. Brushes off or avoids in giving a clear answer to the fans who are petitioning for Suikoden VI.
d. They're giving priority to their other franchises, namely MGS, Silent Hill and Castlevania.

Now I know this is might sound ridiculous (hence the thread's title), but I will be trying my best to land a job in Konami
as a game developer. Of course it's not going to be an easy task, so everyday, I take it as a discipline to
sharpen my game developing skills and hope that someday I will be included as one of the persons who will
shape the next (canon) Suikoden game.

I believe that the RPG making community will be patient to another somewhat newcomer like me and help me
achieve, if not become a step closer to my goal. So please take it easy on me okay?

P.S. Konami's a great company, I love them. But I guess their decision's lately are not well thought out.
Come on, I mean, three SH's in one month? They could have spent their funds on a different franchise.
and an english Suiko II on PSN, the fans has been craving for this ages ago.

Once again, hello to the community!
