I need lotsa help :C
OK, I've started making games again, because I've taken a break from my PSP.
Which also means, I need help. ( I know, big surprise right?)
And, as you all probably know I absolutely no talent when it comes to making custom sprites and music. (Scripting is taken care of for me)
Which is where you come in, if you will help.
RPGMAKER XP
GENRE: SANDBOX RPG (set in the 12th-19th centuries, as in pre-medieval through Ol' west)
THINGS NEEDED: Some music form those time periods, (I can find some, but I also need help with others)
Character sprites (anything you can muster from those time periods in RTP style)
Tile sets ( Once again, anything you can muster, that is appropriate for the time period)
I'm also attempting to enlist help elsewhere, school, my LARPing friends, all the guys from the local art dept.)
All help is appreciated and will be credited of course.
(I prefer resources unused from other games, since I read the topic about the no-nos of using pre-used non-commercial resources)
And, yes I know I'm a mooch... :P

Well I have horrid news, I have to completely restart on my game that I was oh so close to finishing. Because my computer took a shit. So I bought a new one. Installed RMVX , put in my activation code... and it didnt work, so I bought a new activation code, since Enterbrain pretty much told me "LOL OOPS" when I called them.
So yeah, my frikking life sucks an all that.
Maybe I should look on the bright side, I got a new computer. (bye-bye college)

Yeah I need help
I checked google to state off first.
I need Modern/futuristic chipsets for RMVX.
I need some of the insides of buildings (skyscrapers and such).
I also need some of desolated cityscapes, burning buildings exploded cars, etc...
(I need these because I scrapped all of my previous work on my current game 'The meager existance of us humans' because I decided using RTP maps was a no-no.)
Help can and will be appreciated. :P

Not an intro--more ofa temporary goodbye
I left for quite some time without telling anyone, I just wanted everyone to know that I didn't go to a new forum, I'm working on a game.
I'm trying to make it a great game, and so far it is 6/10 finished.
It is called 'The meager existance of us humans' excuse the vagueness of the story I dont want to give away to much.
Story is about a person whom has lost faith in humanity after returning from a war, and his/her life and the nightmares that plague his/her soul. That being stated I wanted to give a temporary (and formal) goodbye, I will return when I have finished the game around the June-September time frame.
I'm trying to make it a great game, and so far it is 6/10 finished.

I can't seem to get my new signature to work, I paste the HTML into the Signature box in my edit profile area, yet nothing ahppens and the HTML code is gone the next time I go to check and see what happened.

DMW RPGmaker?
I've always been a big fan of the Digimon World Games (1 and 2 are my faves).
Therefore I wan't to make a fan game, yet my Spriting skills are mediocre (actually downright horrible) , I guess I'm O.K. at mapping, But, my speciality is story building.
I know this may belong in the Help/Requests area, but I wanted to also use this topic as a catchall for idea and such (or other fans of the series that wan't to discuss it)
EDIT: I can't script AT ALL, I'm trying to learn, but it's not my forte.
(grammatical question, does the I on 'it's' have to be capitalized?)

Game Engine- RPGMAKER VX
Problem- I need a Action RPG script

I JUST GOT ROLEPLAYINGGAME MAKER VX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for CAPS but Cody and I just got together with our Laptops, and we each bought a copy of RMVX, and so far, he's asked me 50 million questions on how to use it.
He's now up to speed, and is working on his first RPG, which I'm supervising, eventually I'll get him to join RMN.
I'm now starting on my first VX- rpg, and I love it so far, too bad it will leave the RM2K game I was working on in a long hiatus which was shaping out to be quite "EPIC"
as said by my friend Christopher.
The reason this is such an accomplishment for me is because, I made a pledge not to steal VX (or XP for that matter) since a maority of the people I know that have it stole it.
