[RM2K3] How to install RPG 20xx Engine?
Yeah I suppose that's true...
Maybe I should do something else... Could you suggest an engine for me based on this criteria?
I would like to have an engine that...
Can do Mode 7
Can have extra animation frames added to the characters
Can be an Action RPG
Does such an engine exist? if not that's ok... I'm also on a mac, but i can put it on PC if necessary...

RPG 20XX Engine
Hello,
I'm afraid I'm pretty new to this process. I've downloaded the RPG 20xx engine, but I don't know if I'm using it properly... I see a lot of fantastic things in the screenshots like perspective mode, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the menus... I'm also not entirely sure how to put my custom sprites in. Are there any tutorials on this sort of thing? Also, is it possible to increase the amount of animation frames for the character sprites?

I was recently interested in learning how to install the RPG Maker 20XX engine to the RM2K3 Engine, but unfortunately, I can't really find any info on doing so. I was wondering, does a tutorial exist on how to do this? Also, would there be any way to up the amount of frames that can be used for character animations in this program?

Airship for RPG XP?
So I just uploaded the Mode 7 plugin into my game on the RPG Maker Xp engine. It's quite good, and now I want have an airship in it, similar to that of FF6's ability to control it's flight in a mode 7 environment. The problem is, I can't figure out how to do it. I watched this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0EDDMQuNm8 and emulated each part. But I still can't fly over water or hills for some reason. Can anyone explain why? Thank you :)
RPG 20XX Engine
So how do I install this to RPG Maker 2003? Or is this a separate engine? Also I saw what looks like mode 7 in the images, so 1.Is mode 7 in this ?:D 2. how can it be activated? 3. if it isn't in it, can I install the rpg maker 2003 mod to rpg maker 20xx to have mode 7?

I am Matsuda123, a relatively new member to RMN. For about half a year now, I have been working solo on my RPG. I've been somewhat slow at producing sprites for it, but I have made some decent progress. However, for my game to ever see the light of day, I realized that I will need assistance. Unfortunately I cannot offer much incentive, but credit for participation, and of course being able to play the game. What is this project about though? Well, read on to discover.
This untitled production is a game about the history of the world. I've found that teaching people through entertaining and visual media is more effective than standard text, and so I sought to straighten out the understanding of history with RPGMaker. How far does this span? In short, from creation to the near future. Each chapter of will be represented by an era. There will be 9 eras total, in this order: Ancient, Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, Industrial, Modern, Atomic, Information, and Future. Some will be shorter than others, such as the medieval era, which will focus on the crusades and Mongol invasions. The game will be filled with choices at many points in time.
So what's needed for this anyway?
Spriting is an area I need help with, especially on characters sides and their side animations. Front and back im alright with, but some help may be needed in said areas as well.
I hope that this idea appeals to many and if you are interested, either post here or message me privately. Images of my work thus far are posted here as well. As soon as I can figure out how to post them...

Problems with RPG Maker 2003
Sounds like a handy program, I'll try it. :) Additionally, I have recently seen an RPG Maker VX have the side view combat like in 2003. is this possible? If so, where can this mod be acquired?
Problems with RPG Maker 2003
Hello all, I am matsuda123, a new member to these parts. I am currently developing a large RPG using 2003, and doing mostly well with graphics creation. However, recently I have run into a rather serious problem. Each time I try importing my own graphics, their color becomes distorted and in game they appear with the background color around them. Have I used too many colors? Is their any way to tell what colors are permitted in a 256 color bitmap?
