Did you like the movie "Man Of Steel" **CONTAINS SPOILERS**
author=Jparker1984author=megaman8xI'm sorry, but you are WAY wrong. It's just my oppinion, but I'm sure alot of people will agree. Man Of Steel was in NO way "just like Electra." Man Of Steel actually had substance, the movie made more sense, the characters (most of them) weren't dull and it was more visually pleasing. The only thing good about Electra was how hot Jennifer was. It made no sense how Electra was an important character for the most part in Dare Devil, yet the only apperance he made in Electra was a small cameo. Lastly, for you to say they are basically the same thing, in my oppinion that makes you a bad judge of movies.
Man of Steel fucking blows. Most of the character's purposes and reasoning for their actions didn't make much sense but who cares throw in a meadow and some sad music and people will love it.I thought it was hilarious Louis' main purpose in the entire movie was to literally push a button.
Man of steel is just like Electra except served on a nicer plate
you must be high as a kite if you think any word resembling "substance" should be used to describe man of steel. the "creative" new take on cryptonians are basically sayians with body suits from gears of war .All the characters are so dull and uninteresting, the dog(stupidest death scene ever by the way) that appeared for 5 seconds was more interesting than the entire cast.
TLDR Version
Because you didn't like electra doesn't make MOS less shitty.

[Poll] Do you think RM2K/3 will ever die off completely?
author=LockeZauthor=AmyThis is like the definition of the OS updating! People always want backwards compatibility, but it's admittedly a ridiculous amount of work, and Microsoft hates it for security and simplicity reasons. It is unsecure, and "90% of people will only use MS Office and Internet Explorer anyway."
Ironically RM95 was released in 1997 :p but still, I would not expect games to suddenly be unplayable because the OS updated. Silly Microsoft.
You can always use the systems that the game was originally designed to run on. You need a PS2 to play PS2 games, so it makes sense to Microsoft (but no one else) for you to need a Windows XP machine to play Windows XP games. Or to have to struggle to get an emulator working, at least.
Though for what it's worth, RM95 games run fine on my Surface Pro. I just have to press escape to exit fullscreen mode, since there's no picture in fullscreen mode. But in windowed mode they work fine. It's a video card thing more than an operating system thing, I suspect.
Most of the incompatibility issues have nothing to do with difficulty, its more of a fiscal decision, the reason older games do not work on windows 8 because they are trying to push developers to the newer versions of DX seeing anything prior to 8 or 9 these days is considered legacy . They did they same thing with windows vista and 7 when they dropped support for visual basic 6 to get people to convert to the .net platform(basically breaking a majority of programs written in the language ). only when people bitched enough did they do anything (very little) about it.

author=NOACCEPTANCE772author=Zachary_Braunhmmm, making 157 maps (OR more) will be kind of tiring, but I will try :/
That picture is a result of the file RPG_RT.lmt getting screwed with. This happened to me when I went into the file to experimentally alter the editing-name of my game. If you have a backup of this file, use it... everything will be good again. RPG_RT.lmt is just a pointer for the map data stored in the MapXXXX.lmu files.
If you don't have a backup, it's OK... you can make a new tree:
First, move all of your maps to a different folder. Next, take a fresh RPG_RT.lmt file from a new project and place it in the folder, overwriting the old corrupted one. If your project won't open, take a fresh Map0001.lmu file into your project folder too. Then, open your project. Make some dummy maps. Make as many of them as you originally had. Just make empty maps. Make sure the map IDs ("Map 0001, Map 0002") match up with all of the .lmu files you have in the folder. (To skip ID numbers, I think you have to make a map, then another one, then delete the first one.) Then, save and exit the program. Take all of those dummy maps in your project folder and move them out of the way, to the trash or somewhere. Then, take all of your real maps that you sequestered away and move them into the project folder. When you open up the project again, it should be OK. You wouldn't have the map groups you originally had though, unless you remembered to make it just the way it used to be. But that part isn't too important.
The map tree might also hold some other minor data, like encounter rates and areas. But it shouldn't be too involved of a process to make up the lost data, especially if it means getting your project back on track.
And remember to make backups! On a USB drive, on a computer server somewhere (how about the RMN locker?)... as many as you care to maintain.
But goddamn, if only there was a way to fix the damn file! :(

rpg maker multi platform?
in a world in which i don't quite understand where people are getting 100 grand for rpg maker games with sprite edits, there was claims it would be available for also mac and Linux. My question is are people using some kind of wrapper or program to make rpg maker games multi platform?

I'm curious as to I have never used any of the main makers since rm95, what isometric perspective are you using? does ace natively support isometric chip sets and characters similar to nrm2k or is that some kind of panorama and if so is that one picture or many pictures?
