No I get that as well I just take the ship back to Old Krangs Cabin (cheaper too !)
In the pub in Mezollia there is a witch on the left she tells you that she will give you the Earth Mantra number if you bring her a Hallowed Nut.

I have got Building Material A, have talked to everyone in sight numerous times but can't find the other 2 !

Ok so I re-downloaded the file and played from the start got back to the illusion, did as suggested went up the stairs preesed the Blue Switch went back and checked the room on the right and it made no difference the barrier is still there.

2. Go to the left entrance (Illusion floor) until you reach a stair.
