The reason for the location is because of how I designed the Inn - each room is on a corner, so each room you enter will be located (screenwise) in that quadrant. The room you're looking at now is the SE one.

EDIT: Basically, while looking at a static screenshot does make the room look out of place, when you make the transition between maps in-game, it's more jarring to go from entering a room on the far right/left of the screen to being in the middle of the screen once the transition is complete.
